What a great hotel! Private onsen option (very nice); footbath. Super thoughtful design of hotel; different art on each floor. Lovely view from the top level with a lounge inside as well as balcony outside. Great buffet featuring local items; broad selection of foods. Very convenient to have W/D in room; spacious room had table and chairs for sitting; window view; and comfortable beds. Excellent! Seems to serve a largely foreign clientele from what we could tell.

Very conveniently situated right next to the JR station. About 10 minutes away from the old town. Each room has a washer/dryer. The onsen was a huge plus at the end of a long day of sightseeing.

The location is just superb, next to Takayama station. Washer/dryer provided in the room is so convenient for doing our own laundry. Staffs are really helpful and friendly. The only drawback for us is that the room is a bit dusty when we first checked in, they didn’t vacuum and clean properly before; I can actually see the layer of dust on the chair and table provided in the room.

The hotel is conveniently located with excellent amenities. The warm spring pool was enjoyable. The facilities were clean and well kept. Takayama is tourist friendly with many attractions close by. Highly recommend.

It was a great room in terms of comfort. There are lots of tour groups, so breakfast is busy and loud. We used a private bath which was nice and the washing machine was handy mid way on a log trip

The hotel over all well maintained and clean! Great location! But, becareful of the hotel beef dinner. We ordered it for one with beef and one with fish which was ordered it 3 months ago. On the day of arrival the front desk staff told me they don't have fish that day. We want to cancel the dinner, they said there will be No refund for canceling! I asked for chicken or pork instead, because I don't eat beef. They told me again no chicken and no pork. I can only have the side dish and no refund for without main course? I am not happy anout it! There was unfair to me! I would not want to stay with this hotel again!

Easy to park. Has public onsen and laundry in the room. Downside is expensive parking. Right next to JR station and near to family mart.
