Property sent message asking for incidental deposit (that was never on the listing). The message asked me to send money to a CashApp account or a Zelle account. The CashApp account was provided but the Zelle account was only given a weird account name (—-@——-). When I tried to transfer with CashApp I received a msg saying this account looked like scam. I wrote back to the property asking for the Zelle account. The property never provided me that information. Instead they asked me to call a phone number, which I did several times with no response. I sent messages back and the property only wrote back when it was already too late for me to cancel without refund. I reached out to Expedia for help and they too were ignored by the property for two days. I ended up booking another hotel (farther and more expensive) because I was going to watch a FIFA game. Only once I had already landed in Philadelphia the property reached back giving me the codes to enter the house, but they never gave me the Zelle account and kept insisting for me to send my phone number. I saw this property listed on another travel site and many comments tell this property doesn’t exist. In fact, after that, I checked Google Maps and the location looks to be in a dangerous eerie neighborhood. DO NOT BOOK HERE! Yesterday they wrote back saying I had told them I asked to cancel which I never did to them. The cancellation request was done by Expedia when trying to help.

It was great

I never got a chance to stay in the room when I first arrived The door was opened I walked in the room OMG the room was nasty no clean sheets tobacco paper was on the window the floors were dirty the bathroom was filthy. So I left the property and tried to call the property manager they never responded but I have pictures if you need them I need all of my money back I didn't stay there

Parking was ok, but that was the only good thing. Dirty sheets with hair and stains that looks like bodily fluids from the previous guests. Property management was very unresponsive I had to wait 4 hours to get into my room was not provided any accommodations for the lost of the time but is being told there is no refund for late check ins when it’s was their fault. Another tenant at the property was kind enough to answer the door but expressed that they received the same mistreatment as my partner and I did if I could give this experience zero stars I would the room looked nice it had everything shown on the site but was a terrible experience and not to mention they have soap dispensers in the shower but no soap inside them that was very disappointing and when you shower the water gets everywhere in the bathroom because the shower curtains aren’t long enough, the towels had stains on them and the wash rags were placed on the toilet when we got to the room which is very unsanitary! And the door on the closet was literally falling off the hinges when we walked into the room and I had to place in back in place so it wouldn’t fall on the bed also after waiting 4 hours outside in the rain it took us an extra 2 minutes to try to get thru the bedroom door to or room because the door was malfunctioning. Do better!!!! It was cold in the room even when I turned the heat on which would only come on in 20 min intervals and the sheets were very itchy!

Apartment was very dirty. When we came in the bed has pubic hair or sometype of short black curly hair all over the sheets with stained pillows. One of the windows was broken and the both the bathroom and kitchen were obviously not clean beforehand. The owner was very nice but the online posting are not at all showing the actual conditions of the apartment and surronding areas.

Staff didn't send check in instructions when they were supposed too. So i spent over an hour on the porch (in not the best neighborhood) with all my belongings mid winter trying to contact them through text, email, and phone call. It wasnt until I got hotel.com involved for a potential refund/cancelation they cared to answer. Also dont expect your deposit back. I sent photos of any damage there was when i checked in, cleaned when i left etc. And again gor ignored when asking about it. Would not recommend

I love everything about this BNB ... if it was up to me i would move in. GREAT area. Very calm.

Very Clean

I have serious concerns about the hosts communication, and the rooms security and cleanliness. For starters, they require you to cashapp them a deposit before checking in, even through directly under the message Expedia tells you specifically to not pay using third party apps. Then they say they’ll send you check in info around 2:00pm and if you don’t they give you a number to call. After calling the number more than once and going to voicemail, I got a phone call from the host at 2:30pm saying he would text me check-in information in 10-15 minutes. I followed up with a text at 3:30pm because I still received nothing. He finally responded with check-in information at 4:30pm. When I arrived and entered through the 1st keypad door, the 2nd keypad door was not locked (remained unlocked throughout the trip). I went to my assigned room to find the door unlocked, bed slept in and messy, towels on the floor, dirty rug, clearly “lived in”. I immediately called the host multiple times and did not get an answer until I texted him. He assigned me to a new room that was 50 degrees and took several hours to warm up. The shower floor was dirty, shower curtain ripped, stains in the towels. The bed pillows were decorative pillows with pillow cases on them. I expressed concern about people on porch trying to get into the building without a code but got no response. The battery in my door lock also died and I was unable to lock the door from the outside for part of my trip.

My stay was perfect
