OZO Hotels Antares Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

The shuttle bus did not come on time. It didn’t turn up for the 23:00 pick up,

Room was well maintained. Location was good but not convenient for walking. No restaurants or stores within walking distance. However, with the free airport shuttle, you can go anywhere from there-train station is connected. Staff wasn’t overly friendly. When we arrived, it was almost like we were bothering the guy to store our bags. Restaurant was okay. We just had drinks and a couple apps.

They don’t respect customers and will find a way to take extra cash from you

The breakfast didn’t have much choice and the ‘warm’ breakfast was cold, the fresh juice tasted like a cheap cordial or concentrate.

We had a pleasant stay at OZO Antares. Staff polite and friendly. Disappointed no plug adapter available to borrow. Drivers of shuttle bus exceptional. We got on the wrong bus and the driver contacted driver of the correct bus and he picked us up :)

Everything was great

3 of us flew in and out of Amsterdam from Calgary, Canada as part of a great adventure to Africa. The Hotel is clean, good location to the Airport, amenities were fine. Upon arrival on May 14th (staying 2 nights in 2 rooms) the front desk clerk saw that we were exhausted from our overnight flight and allowed us to get into our rooms early and not be charged. We VERY much appreciated that and I gave a good review because of it. On our return May 28 (1 night/2rooms) we rolled into Ozo exhausted after a 9 hour overnight flight, hoping again we could get into our rooms early. Nope, different clerk. The ‘rules’ clearly state we’d have to pay $10 Euro ‘per hour’ ahead of check-in. We mentioned that it was our second time staying at the Hotel in 2 rooms in 2 weeks and that the previous clerk let us in early…. And, begrudgingly, were offered to ‘only’ pay $30 Euro to get into 1 of the rooms. We paid, but I think Ozo really missed an opportunity to deliver service that will definitely bring us back.

Definitely a one night stay if you need parking near the airport or a quick ride there. Otherwise it is a minimum effort place. Asked for a real mug vs paper cups, which burn your hands even with two, nope. Restaurant menu was poor with only 2 choices for gf. Expensive breakfast with few gf options. Common area often littered. Outside front doors had paper cups, bottles and other garbage most of the time. Front desk fellow was disinterested.
