Heating didn’t work when we arrived had to call the maintenance guy who happily fixed the problem. Also when we checked in someone had left a box chicken tenders on the bench. Very unusual. Staff took care of it. Otherwise it was a reasonable stay.

The spa and pool were great, and the heated pool was a nice improvement compared with our stay last winter. The room was as good as always. However, after using the pool, we needed fresh towels on the third day and were told there were no more towels available. For a Meriton suites, this was disappointing.

Hotel was great had all the amenities needed, large fridge/ freezer. Washing machine and dryer. The location great close to the shopping centre. Everything was a 10 min drive very good location

Parking arrangements need to be clearly laid out such as, "There maybe no where to park while you are checking in and you are not able to enter the car park prior to checking in."

The apartment suite was modern and fresh, in line with my expectations; the staff were very professional and friendly. However, I was unfortunate enough to end up with a room which had virtually no view with very limited natural light. I realise the hotel cannot do much about this even for any future guest occupying this room, as it's simply a shocking building design oversight. Getting back to positives, the hotel is located within a 5-10 min walk to the bustling Civic dining and entertainment precinct. Overall, I am happy to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Canberra city.

Great location and clean apartment with all amenities needed. Only downside was the pillows supplied are very tall and uncomfortable and they had no other pillows in stock with their program.

The carparking was messed up completely , the post stay survey had a faulty link and didn't work, the bathroom sink didn't drain properly, the TV options were awkward and relies on the guest casting from their phone to the TV - this feels very cheap for such a quality chain of hotels, the towels were small and thin. The place just didn't have the polish I would expect. On the positive the room was clean, well furnished and the bed was so so comfortable. The staff were also excellent and helped quickly with the parking mess up . The area around this hotel has limited options in terms of bars and restaurants on the weekend - the Casino is very close and has a good spors bar but non one was there
