There was a decent amount of hair in the bathtub when we first checked in. Also loose/broken components in the washroom. We also asked if we were able to get our laundry done and informed the front desk staff that we had left our personal laundry bags in our room before we went out to do some sight-seeing, they said okay, without any mention of pricing or fees, which gave the false impression it was included in our stay. Long story short, the bill for laundry ended up being more than our entire stay and there was an actual form that was supposed to be signed by us and filled out before we received the service for it to be a valid transaction. Our friends from China told us this was technically illegal and the charges were on the hotel to cover the costs…. but I needed my laundry back and they wouldn’t budge on covering the service….we would have never gone through with our laundry request if we were shown or told about the costs it would entail. We had to restrict our travel plans due to taking such a huge hit from this :(
