The rooms were advertised having queen size beds, but the beds in my room were FULL size. I was told by the staff, the hotel does not even have queen beds... so, I don't know why there was false advertisement. However, having two bathrooms in the room was a plus!! ALSO, you must let the hotel know at check-in if you want your room cleaned every day. Other than what I mentioned, great hotel and great location across from Grant park.

There was a mandatory $25 a day charge destination charge for the high speed internet (already included in my Hilton Honors benefits, $10/day for food/beverage, and $18 dry cleaning ($10 shirt). I also was most disappointed by the late checkout (which is Hilton Honors gold benefit) that will only allow 1 hour for free (because they couldn’t do it later, except they could for an additional $40 fee). Monetizing benefits I was already supposed to get for staying with Hilton and their Gold elite status is very disappointing. Would not recommend due to the additional fees.

The four of us were happy and surprised to have two bathrooms in our room. We enjoyed swimming laps, relaxing in the Jacuzzi, and even a nice sauna session. Lovely walkable sightseeing all around. The smoke from the fires was unfortunate, but still managed to enjoy the night out! Kitty O'Shea's provided a fulfilling pub experience and Jennifer was awesome!

This hotel was gorgeous and has so much history surrounding it. Our room was perfect and spacious, and the staff was very helpful and let us check in early. The housekeeping staff were also very sweet, and we enjoyed greeting them in the hallway before heading out for the day.

Great location. Lake view was beautiful but noisy. The mini-fridge temp was not adjustable and turned my sparking water into slushies and exploded one of them. I tipped housekeeping using the QR code on our first morning, and housekeeping never came during our entire three-night stay. The room was clean overall, but some seldom-used items, like the coffee maker and hair dryer, were very dusty. The lobby is pretty, but the rooms lack the same character as the common spaces. Staff was friendly enough, but the 3:00 check-in line was inadequately staffed and took far too long. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Decent, but not the caliber that I was expecting given the Hilton name and the location’s history.
