Our stay at Art Hotel in Porto was excellent. Convenient and reasonably priced for the location. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. For those considering staying here, it’s a short 10 minute walk to the Dom Luis bridge and everything at the waterfront. As a bonus, there is fantastic gelato right next door - with a great outdoor terrace at the back. And the original Gazela cachorrinho (fantastic Portuguese hotdogs) is also just down the street…a must have.

The hotel was in a great location. Convenient to hop on hop off bus. There were lots of restaurants close by. There were also lots of sites to visit by foot near by as well.

Rooms need updating, carpets were very dirty in both the rooms and hallways. It was raining during our stay and the hotel ran out of umbrellas for patrons (seemed unfair as borrowers did not have to return them each day). Location is OK/everything is walkable. Loud at times if your room backs on to the street
