The Hotel Mercure Osaka was a beautiful more boutique type hotel. Perfect for our stay. It’s a cool design and great views from our room. We didn’t mind that it was a little darker inside as we had good lighting in our room yet we did have a corner room. Love the pool table area as my college sons played both nights. Restaurant was good too. Excellent location and walking distance to all shopping and dining. I would recommend staying here. A Bonus there was a laundry washer/dryer in the room here too!

The hotel has a perfect location. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and very close to the metro station. The room feels spacious, and beds are comfortable. I had the breakfast buffet one day, the coffee was terrible, as well as the bread (it tasted like day old bread). The hotel didn’t offer free coffee bar, soda and snacks like the other hotels we stayed in Japan, I felt disappointed.

Firstly, why is the room was that dark, and light switches were in its awkward place, and making difficult to access. There weren’t enough lightings. Secondly, the shower was awful and there weren’t any places to put your clear dry clothes and towels. Very uncomfortable and awkward.

Very central location perfect for our 3 days in Osaka, being an easy walk to shops and restaurants and easy access to the train station. Room was great clean condition, and staff very helpful with any queries

Excellent location, especially for a first visit to Osaka. Good room size, some with their own laundry. The immediate area around the hotel is pretty calm but a quick walk and you're in a very busy and fun area. Quick walk to Namba station which connects you to the amazing public transit system - we did say trips to Kobe, Kyoto, and Nara during our stay.

First of all the location is perfect, it’s close by to everything! The hotel is very well maintained , clean and the staff are very helpful. The amenities are great as well and our room was spacious and really clean! Will be back again!!!
