Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area! The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. The bar, restaurant and food service teams were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making guests feel genuinely valued throughout their stay. A special mention also to the young gentleman in the restaurant, who was exceptionally polite and professional, and to the young lady serving food in the bar area. We understand she's fairly new, but she serves customers with such pride and enthusiasm that you'd think it was her own business. It's wonderful to see the Lewis Partnership adding her talents to an already outstanding team. As always, the surroundings are beautiful, with stunning wildlife and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The Sunday roast was delicious, and the breakfast was simply divine – only surpassed by the exceptional customer service. We're also looking forward to visiting the Dog & Doublet, another property within the same group and conveniently located nearby. We visit Moat House ourselves whenever we want to relax, and my parents genuinely won't consider staying anywhere else when they're in town. That's probably the highest compliment we can give. Truly one of the best hospitality experiences around. Thank you to the entire team!

Lovely hotel and the room and food was very nice. The staff were also very helpful. There was a prom taking place during our stay so parking and using the facilities was limited during the evening . We could have used the area outside to sit and eat as intended but it was just too busy and noisy for us with the parents and students gathered outside.

Staff were professional and friendly upon check in. Family room was a great size. Lovely grounds in a lovely little village

Beautiful setting near a canal, room was lovely a huge bed! Slept really well, staff so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely in the restaurant staff very helpful, definitely be going back there and recommend to my friends.

Idea for dog with a large field for exercising. We had a large room with wide comfortable bed. Staff helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back

Room was excellent with 4 poster bed, aircon and outside seating, staff were great especially the manager who was very understanding and customer focussed.

Lovely stay for 1 night. Very hot so was hoping for aircon but not available. Staff provided 2 x fans which was well needed! Clean comfy room and bed. Fab surroundings and lovely food. Ordered the chateau briand which was delicious. Highly recommend.
