Experiență la Școala de Gătit Tingly Thai din Bangkok

Deși a fost puțin mai scumpă decât alte școli de gătit, alegerea acesteia a meritat absolut, nu am regretat-o deloc. Am participat la curs împreună cu soțul meu și fiul nostru de 8 ani. Eram îngrijorată că nu se va descurca, dar a fost total realizabil și ne-am bucurat cu toții din plin de experiență. Nu a fost doar distractiv și antrenant, ci și foarte educativ; am învățat atât de multe despre ingrediente și chiar am deprins puțin din limbă pe parcurs. Cel mai important, mâncarea a ieșit delicioasă! Gustul a fost cu adevărat la înălțime, ceea ce a făcut întreaga experiență și mai satisfăcătoare, iar acest lucru este important pentru mine, deoarece putem reproduce gustul minunat acasă! O mențiune specială pentru antrenoarea noastră, CHool, care a fost incredibil de amuzantă și captivantă. Personalitatea ei a făcut sesiunea și mai plăcută pentru toată lumea. A trecut aproape o lună de la călătoria noastră și încă vorbim despre această experiență astăzi, ceea ce spune totul! Recomand cu căldură.

15 Stars! I booked the Afternoon Class thinking there'd be a Market Tour but there wasn't one. When I reflected this to Instructor Chon, they took steps to change their Klook info. In recovery, they asked if I wanted to make Som Tam and of course I said yes! The class went very fast since I was the only one. Even with 5 dishes, I ended at 4pm, including the time that I ate the last 2 dishes very slowly. I packed the Som Tam and one portion of the Mango Sticky Rice back home because I just couldn't eat anymore. The whole experience was really wonderful and super fun. Service was perfect! It was also the best meal I had for the whole Bangkok trip!!! I will go back for the morning class to try another menu. The base menu is the same but the curries are different for different days. I don't mind doing the base menu again because the recipes were solid and way better than what we get even in restaurants. The balance of flavours was just perfect! Highly recommend Tingly Thai!

Turul pieței de dimineață a fost distractiv și interesant pentru a învăța despre diferitele ingrediente. Instructorul Cho a vorbit bine engleza. Lecțiile de gătit au fost foarte distractive. Am învățat să gătesc 4 feluri de mâncare: supă Tom Yum Kai, Pad Thai, Curry și orez lipicios cu mango.

I’m so glad I booked this cooking class it’s been the most enjoyable part of my trip so far! I loved learning about Thai culture through its food. Nam, our instructor, was absolutely amazing, funny, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable. Visiting the local market made such a big difference in understanding Thai ingredients, and Nam even let us smell and touch the spices and herbs used in Thai cooking. The facility was excellent, clean, organized, and beginner-friendly. Even if you’ve never cooked before, you’ll definitely learn and have fun! All the ingredients were fresh, and the whole class felt so well-prepared. One of my favorite parts was meeting people not only from my country but also from all around the world. Everyone was smiling and enjoying themselves the whole time. The four hours flew by because we were having such a great experience. This class is an absolute must-try! Book it you definitely won’t regret it!!

Aceasta a fost activitatea mea preferată de făcut în Thailanda!!! Cho a fost foarte amabil și ne-a oferit instrucțiuni detaliate pe care am reușit să le urmăm. Recomand cu căldură această școală. Am urmat cursul de seară, care nu este prea aglomerat. :)

Joining this cooking class was one of the highlights of my trip. I really enjoyed every single part of this morning class. We started with a tour of a local market, which was such an authentic experience. Our instructor and tour guide, Ms. Song, was incredibly funny, engaging, and very informative because she explained the ingredients and local products and market culture in such a way that the tour became both educational and entertaining. I learned quite a lot during the class about cooking techniques and how to prepare traditional Thai dishes correctly. Being a solo traveller, it was also really nice to meet other people and cook with them, so therefore making it a very memorable experience. Tingly Thai Cooking School is highly recommended for those with a desire to learn, have fun, and enjoy real Thai cuisine.

O experiență super tare și mâncarea a fost delicioasă! Gustul era exact ca la restaurant! Toate ingredientele proaspete, iar profesorul nostru a fost atât de plin de viață și amuzant! Mă bucur atât de mult că am mers! Tom Yum și Pad Thai au fost uimitoare și am fost surprins că le-am făcut eu însumi!!! Cu siguranță merită să mergeți dacă sunteți aici în Thailanda! Rețineți că meniul este diferit în funcție de zi, așa că alegeți ziua care include ceea ce doriți. Eu am vrut să învăț să fac Pad Thai!

Chor was our instructor and if my week wasn’t so busy I would have taken another class because chor made the class amazing and I melt like I became a Michelin qualified chef 😜all my dishes turned out tasting great and she guides you literally step by step and also ensures you make it right but also helps o your tasting whether sweetened or spicy. this experience included 4 dishes plus the morning class had the market which is great experience and at the end you get a small gift with cookbook of recipes was such a amazing deal plus great j strict or and space and also to beat the heat this class is air conditioned also it’s great for young adults too and any size groups from couple to large groups. it’s definitely an experience I will squeeze in everytime I’m back.

From the local market visit to the hands‑on cooking session, everything was thoughtfully organized and engaging. We loved learning about the ingredients at the market and understanding how to choose the freshest items like a local. The best part was that we could adjust the flavors to suit our personal taste, which made the experience even more special and authentic. The class was interactive, fun, and very interesting throughout. In the end, my partner and I prepared delicious Thai dishes that we were so proud of — and they tasted amazing! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a genuine and enjoyable Thai cooking experience.
