Tur de o jumătate de zi la Siem Reap Tonle Sap și Satul Plutitor cu transferuri

The Floating Village and Tonle Sap tour with guide Meng and driver Sal was an exceptionally good experience. Meng did so well sharing Cambodian life and what it is really like living in a Floating Village. Being able to walk a Village and see kids at play, learning English was a bonus. You will not regret doing the Mangrove boat tour either and it supports local families....so, so good!

Ce tur fabulos, condus de Meng și șoferul nostru James Bond! Soțul meu și cu mine ne-am bucurat din plin de acest tur, nu știam la ce să ne așteptăm, dar am fost plăcut surprinși. Am fost preluați cu un microbuz și duși la barcă, apoi am explorat satul plutitor, chiar dacă era sezonul uscat/de iarnă, se putea vedea unde se ridica apa și ne puteam imagina satul așa cum ar fi în sezonul ploios. Apoi ne-am plimbat prin sat, văzând cum trăiau oamenii, școlile și magazinele etc. Apoi ne-am întors pe barcă la următoarea noastră oprire, unde am luat canoe, care erau vâslite de femei prin mangrove. Apoi ne-am oprit la un restaurant/bar plutitor pentru a privi cum începea să apună soarele. Ce tur uimitor, mulțumim lui Meng, 5 stele de la noi, am recomanda cu siguranță această excursie, un contrast minunat cu templele din Angkor Wat.

Our tour guide Happy Tear and driver Micheal is super professional! Happy Tear is so funny and full of local knowledge (he once was a local fisherman) and speaks fantastic English. He can answer all questions I ask with super patience and details. Floating village is one of my favourite because our guide!

Eu și familia mea am mers în acest tur de jumătate de zi cu Jack, ghidul nostru. Jack a fost extrem de amabil și prietenos, asigurându-se că ne simțim confortabil pe tot parcursul turului. A fost foarte bine informat despre aspectele istorice ale satului și a comunicat excelent cu grupul nostru de turiști. Am făcut un tur cu un grup mic, iar noi opt am luat un autobuz până la satul plutitor și o barcă până la un restaurant pe apă. Ne-a plăcut foarte mult cadrul de grup mic, deoarece ne-a ajutat să ne simțim mai ascultați și mai în largul nostru. Jack a fost super de ajutor și ne-a răspuns la toate întrebările!

It was a nice tour to visit Kampong Phluk during dry season as we get the privilege of entering and seeing the village on foot. We were told that the only possible way to visit the village is by boat during the wet season as everything will be flooded. The boat ride to Tonle Sap was also an enjoyable one. Meng (our guide) and Handsome (driver) were fantastic in managing the group. Meng was very kind and funny as well. The information that he delivered about the lives in the floating village was really eye-opening.

Thanks to our friendly guide Mr Happy Tear and Driver Mr James Bond for taking good care of us on this memorable trip. was fascinating to see the floating village lifestyle during the dry season, houses on stilts are amazing and it shows how adaptable we as humans can be. sunset on the lake was beautiful and you can even order croc or snake at the restaurant on a lake (big bottles of Cambodia are a must!)

It was a wonderful experience visiting Kampong Phluk during the dry season, as we had the unique opportunity to walk through the village on foot. We were informed that during the wet season, the only way to visit the village is by boat since the entire area becomes flooded, which made this experience even more special. The boat ride to Tonle Sap was also very enjoyable and offered beautiful views along the way . Our guide, Meng, and the driver were fantastic in managing the group. Meng was especially kind, humorous, and engaging throughout the tour. The information he shared about life in the floating village was truly eye opening and gave us a deeper understanding of the local community. What stood out most was his warm personality, he even gave sweets to the children in the village, showing his genuine kindness. He treated us like family and went the extra mile to take photos for us, making the experience even more memorable. I would definitely recommend Meng and his team for anyone.

Traseul turului, împreună cu ghidul nostru Meng și șoferul, a fost absolut fantastic și ne-am simțit minunat. Meng este foarte amabil și un adevărat maestru în a face pe toată lumea din grup să se bucure. Ne-am bucurat de o briză plăcută pe puntea deschisă a bărcii în timp ce exploram satul plutitor, am vâslit prin mangrove cu canoea și ne-am oprit la un magazin pentru a cumpăra suveniruri și a lua o gustare ușoară — a fost un tur atât de complet și satisfăcător. Recomand cu căldură acest tur dacă doriți altceva decât vizite la temple! Mi-ar plăcea să mă alătur din nou. Vă mulțumesc mult!

Kampong Phluk and Tonle Sap are definitely two of the iconic spots you have to visit when you go to Siem Reap. Our guide, Meng, made sure that we had a great experience. Definitely, highly recommended!
