Tokyo: Atelier de Modificare Game Boy în Akihabara (Original/Advance)

Absolutely amazing experience at Gameboy Mod Workshop at Akihabara, Tokyo in Tokyo! The staff were super friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about retro gaming. They made the whole process fun and easy to follow, whether you’re a hardcore Game Boy fan or just getting into retro gaming. Loved being able to customise and build my own Game Boy — such a unique experience and an awesome souvenir to take home. The attention to detail and care they put into the workshop was next level. If you’re visiting Tokyo and love retro games, I highly recommend checking this place out. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! 🎮🔥

We did this activity on our first trip to Tokyo and WOW! We were absolutely blown away! this was such an incredible experience! As Gameboy kids growing up, this was such a wonderful nostalgic thing for us to do! Making a custom gameboy that you get to take back home with you is such a unique experience and great way to commemorate a visit to the place where it all started! Not to mention, the customer service is phenomenal - the hosts were so kind and helpful. Don’t even think about it - just book it! You NEED to do this and you won’t regret it!

Taichi and Hiroto were fantastic! I can’t express how much fun and how helpful they were throughout the whole process! They were patient and kept things light and casual. I had zero prior experience with this activity and came away with a Gameboy I can’t wait to play and show off. Thank you both SO much!!

A fost absolut fantastic. Mi-a plăcut totul la acest atelier!! M-am distrat foarte mult, personalul este adorabil și a fost atât de nostalgic!! Nu pot descrie sentimentul de a sta acolo cu un grup de oameni jucându-ne pe Gameboy-urile noastre proaspăt personalizate, de parcă am fi avut din nou 10 ani. Vă mulțumesc mult, băieți, că le-ați permis turiștilor să retrăiască o parte din copilăria noastră prin atelierul vostru!! 🥰

Știți ce este un dispozitiv Gameboy? Dacă da, aceasta este cea mai bună clasă de modificare la care puteți participa! Fără spoilere, dar vă puteți schimba cu adevărat dispozitivul. Cele două gazde sunt extrem de utile în procesul dumneavoastră de învățare. Sunt atât de bine pregătite, iar acest lucru contribuie mult la obținerea unei experiențe complete. Aș face asta din nou!

a really great time, English speaking, great energy, really bough back a piece of childhood and made it fun in the process, couldn’t recommend more. the the instructor taichai was exceptionally helpful through the whole time.

Was a super cool experience. Taichi and the rest of the staff was super helpful and patient. The process was super easy and they were there to make sure everything went smoothly. Would recommend for anyone who had a gameboy as a child!

Just done the make your own Gameboy experience. This was a super fun experience where we took an original Gameboy and transformed it in to our own design and colours. Fun for all the family. Would 100% recommend. Worth every penny

The leaders are knowledgeable, have a passion for what they do, and have a good time throughout. Very worth the money and you get a Gameboy to bring home as part of the Akihabara experience! Very easy to do and lots of fun throughout. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone!
