Such an amazing experience, we had a great time learning more information and seeing the process of Kyoto yuzen dying for kimono/obi. The location is a bit far but so worth it! We painted our own framed art—great personal souvenir. Would 100% do it again. So happy to support the local artisans.

One of the best experiences I had. Yuzen dye is such a complex and fascinating work of art, that only spending an hour or two there doesn't feel like it's enough. I would have loved to spend a whole week of internship to completely immerse myself in this work of art!! If you want a bit of history of Kyoto while also making some neat art, please go ahead and have the time of your life!! I loved the experience and I'll gladly come again!! 🥰

absolutely fantastic my favorite part of my Kyoto trip. Go do this!!! the women were kind and happy to answer any questions. a great delve into culture art and skill of kimono. I can’t suggest this enough.
This has been the BEST experience I've had in Kyoto! The employees were so kind and informative and very understanding when we were a wee bit late due to our cab dropping us off at the wrong location. The video was very interesting and getting to see some of the patterns they have on record was amazing, they were all so beautiful 😍
