Recenzii
This tour was a truly enjoyable and well-organized day trip from Tokyo. The journey started smoothly with the Shinkansen, followed by the unique Hokusai-themed train, which made the travel experience special and culturally rich. Even though the weather was not perfect and Mt. Fuji was only partially visible, the overall experience was still very satisfying. I really enjoyed visiting the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center, where I learned about the cultural and spiritual importance of the mountain. The peaceful atmosphere at Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine and the beautiful scenery of Shiraito Falls were also memorable highlights. One of the most unique parts was the wasabi farm experience. It was my first time seeing wasabi fields and grating fresh wasabi. The tour was well managed and the guide was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to understand. Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore nature, culture and local experiences in one day.
This was an amazing experience! Not only was there plenty of sightseeing -- e.g., on the Hokusai train, at the Mt. Fuji Heritage Center, and at Shiraito Falls -- but I also learned a lot about the cultural significance of Mt. Fuji and other local specialties. Our guide was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The day was packed but really fun. The lunch was delicious and at a level that you would expect from high-class ryokans. You won't be disappointed. In addition, if you like sushi but, like me, never got used to wasabi, the wasabi farm tour and tasting is a great chance for you to find out how different high-grade wasabi tastes. I recommend it! Overall, this tour was well-organized and enjoyable. You are taken to one of the best spots to appreciate Mt. Fuji and you will also get to know many attractions in the local area.
The tour was fantastic! Our tour guide Nao spoke perfect English, was very knowledgeable and funny, making sure we were entertained throughout the day. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about Japanese art, religion and enjoy stunning nature. Riding the train decorated with Hokusai paintings, and passing scenes portrayed in them, was truly a unique experience. Visit to the museum and the shrine allowed me to appreciate the cultural importance of Mt. Fuji even more. Visiting the falls was extremely impressive, and I enjoyed trying out freshest wasabi ever at the farm. Only thing I would note is that the schedule is tight and there is quite a lot of travel time between locations, so make sure to eat beforehand as you might get hungry before lunch (which was delicious!). Overall, I truly enjoyed this tour and hope everyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of Japan will try it.
This Mt Fuji, Shizuoka Wasabi Farm Tour with Hokusai Train & Bullet Train was one of the most memorable day trips I’ve had in Japan. Meeting at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu and boarding the Shinkansen made getting out of the city fast, comfortable, and stress‑free. Transferring to the Hokusai-themed train from Shinkansen was a real highlight – the ukiyo‑e artwork and views of Mt Fuji made the journey itself feel like part of the attraction, not just transport. Lunch was delicious and I had the regular Japanese lunch. The wasabi farm visit was a unique experience I haven’t seen on other Mt Fuji tours. Walking around the fields and then actually grating fresh Mazuma wasabi by hand, then tasting it, really changed how I think about wasabi – it was fragrant, mildy sweet, and not just “spicy.” Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting more than just a quick photo of Mt Fuji. Our guide Nao-san made the tour more memorable as he spoke perfect English and explain all the fine details.
It is definitely a wonderful day trip from Tokyo to Fuji-san. You can experience shinkansen, take a special train for looking mout Fuji, learn about Fuji-san in Fuji World Heritage Center. The Shiraito Fall is so stunning in a sunny day. I was also impressed when visit wasabi farm where you can learn about how to plant it as well as trying to taste fresh wasabi. It's taste is totally different from normal wasabi you have had. The tour is well managed, the tourguide is very kind and supportive. Highly recommend to those who visit Japan for the first time as well as foreinger living in Japan who cannot drive car for trip.
I really enjoyed this tour because it was very well prepared. The guide was experienced, and the destinations were unique and not mainstream. I had the opportunity to ride the Hokusai train, where artworks by Hokusai from the Edo period are displayed inside. I also visited the Mt. Fuji Museum, which has a very beautiful and distinctive architectural design. Near from it, there is a shrine that has a big beautiful sakura tree. In addition, I joined a wasabi tasting experience. this was my first time grating fresh wasabi root and seeing a wasabi paddy in person (the wasabi and rice were incredibly fresh!). The lunch provided was delicious, and to top it off, we were treated to an impressive drum performance.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience! I truly enjoyed the tour: everything was very well organized and thoughtfully prepared. Our tour leader was highly experienced, spoke excellent English, and had a great sense of humor, so we were never bored. Although the rainy weather made it difficult to see Mount Fuji, the other activities more than made up for it. The shrine was beautiful, and the cherry blossoms just about to bloom created a lovely atmosphere. The waterfall was absolutely stunning it was honestly crazy how beautiful it was! I shared photos on my social media, and so many of my friends asked where it was and said they can’t wait to visit. I learned a lot about wasabi, including its history, and the Q&A session was very informative. It was also my first time making wasabi directly from the plant, which was a unique and memorable experience, real wasabi truly tastes different! Highly recommend this trip to who wants to explore local spots that you can't find on social-media.
Thank you for the great experience! I really enjoyed the tour because everything was very well prepared. All of the staff were very helpful, and the tour guide was especially great and never boring. The whole event was conducted very well. I also loved the food, and it was my first time making wasabi by myself directly from the plant, which was really cool! Even though it was cloudy and we couldn’t see Mount Fuji clearly, the tour was still very interesting overall. I highly recommend this tour. Thanks again!
Our tour guide Nao-san not only speaks fluent English, but has a great sense of humor as well as customer engagement. Thanks to his introduction and explanation through the day, the whole trip was a great learning to myself. I've learned a lot about Hokusai, Mount Fuji, the waterfall and Wasabi growing (the fresh taste of wasabi was awesome too) and gained wonderful experiences in Shizuoka - definetely a lovely prefecture where lots of beauty and culture lie. I'd very much love to go explore again! (One thing to point out is to make sure you have a filling breakfast because the lunch starts late at around 14:30!)
I participated in the Mt. Fuji and Shizuoka wasabi farm tour, and it was an excellent experience overall. The tour was very well organized, beginning smoothly at Tokyo Station. The inclusion of the Hokusai train added a distinctive cultural element. Although visibility of Mt. Fuji was limited due to weather conditions, we were still able to enjoy partial views. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, including visits to the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center, Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine, and Shiraito Falls—all of which were worthwhile. The wasabi farm visit was particularly unique, offering the opportunity to taste fresh wasabi. The guide was professional, friendly, and provided clear explanations in English. Overall, I found this tour to be highly enjoyable and would recommend it to others.
