Charlie și Fabrica de Ciocolată la Teatrul Sands

the musical was very nice. the songs were fun, the costumes and the set looked amazing. every cast member sang and acted wonderfully, and everyone was perfectly on pitch. the boy who played Charlie had a beautiful voice and sang so we'll throughout the performance. we unexpectedly found a golden ticket placed under our chair. it was completely random. it truly felt like a special moment.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory is a musical filled with lots of music with live orchestra played on a colourful set by talented casts. It incorporated ballet elements, digital projections as well as some magic to keep the audience in awe. Great show for all ages for the young and adults!

I am so glad I grabbed this awesome deal — the kids absolutely loved the musical, and I enjoyed it just as much as an adult. Best of all, we managed to get the tickets during the “final week” promotion and were allocated really lovely seats. 😊

It was truly a magical experience. The production was spectacular from start to finish with an incredibly talented cast that brought the beloved characters to life with energy, charm & heart. The stage design, props & costumes were meticulously planned & beautifully executed, creating a visually stunning world that transported the audience straight into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Every detail added to the sense of wonder & imagination that makes this story so timeless. It took me back to my childhood days of reading Roald Dahl's books & watching the movie adaptations, rekindling the same excitement and sense of adventure. The inclusion of the beloved classic songs added another layer of magic, filling the theatre with familiar melodies that had the audience humming along with delight. The seamless blend of music, storytelling, humour & breathtaking visuals created an unforgettable theatrical experience for all ages. A truly enchanting production & an absolute must-watch!

The boy playing Charlie was superb. For someone so young, he delivered all his lines perfectly while keeping up with the actions. I also loved Violet Beauregarde — she was loud, clear, and still managed to deliver her hip hop dance. The live band was a little too loud at times, so it was hard to catch some of the dialogue and lyrics when the cast spoke or sang quickly. Willy Wonka’s surprise magic tricks were a real highlight. The set design and lighting were beautiful and used the stage space really well. Outside the theatre, there was a photo booth with an actual chocolate backdrop by Janice Wong — such a cool touch.

Really enjoyable show, Charlie was a really strong actor, and all the other children (adults) were so good at physical comedy. Follows the original story closely with great inspiration from the 2 movies. Great time for the family.

Booked in September last year. Seats were in the first row of the Grand Circle. There were many promotions over the past few months and I semi-regretted booking so early because the promotions were cheaper than what I purchased on Klook. There were quite a few empty seats too so there was no need to rush to book early.

the show was so amazing, it easily became one of my favorite productions ever! the set, the costume, and amazing use of LED. I also loved all the special effects! definitely a show to remember.
