As always, Klook made our trip more convenient. When we visited the Independence Palace, the line at the ticket counter was very long. Thankfully, since we booked through Klook, we were able to use the fast lane, and there was a dedicated staff member to assist us with claiming our tickets. The place is huge and perfect for taking photos. It’s well-maintained, and I really appreciate how they have preserved the historical site. Definitely worth visiting!

A great place to visit for those interested in Vietnam’s history. However, the map direction on Klook was inaccurate, and we had to walk almost one full round around the area before finding the main entrance. Klook should definitely update the location guide. We paid an extra 25,000 VND for the electric car ride with audio explanations around the palace grounds, which lasted about 5–10 minutes before entering the building itself. Inside the Independence Palace, visitors mainly use the stairs, while the lift is reserved for people with disabilities. We didn’t manage to explore every section because it was quite hot inside, but overall it was still a good and worthwhile experience. The palace is well preserved and gives a nice insight into Vietnam’s historical background.

來越南一定要來一趟統一宮，來了解一下越南歷史，用Klook 買票的話，可以不用多花時間現場排隊買票，旅行的時候，貴公司的員工還主動用 What's App 聯繫客人，確認客人有訂該行程，大概幾點會到現場，我覺得這個動作不錯，然後客人也可以透過What's App 去跟他說明問題，以及預計到達的時間，方便工作人員到場給您票卷。我參觀的是有包含諾羅敦宮的行程，建議當天可以額外自己租借導覽機，我租了一台中文的導覽機，更加了解統一宮的內部。統一宮真的很大唷！請大家要預留2-3小時在園區走走唷！

구글지도로 찾아갔다가 통일궁 매표소와는 다른곳이라 좀 버벅댔지만 클룩직원이 있어서 표바꾸는데는 문제 없었어요. 사방이 다 뚫려있다보니 더웠어요. 실내지만 더워서 오래 걷다가 통일궁둘러보는건 지칠수도 있답니다. 전기차를 (버기카)타고 통일궁 한바퀴를 둘러볼 수있지만 중간에 내리고 탈수없는게 아쉬워요. 무조건 탔던곳에서 한바퀴돌고 내려야해요.

You need to look staff in red T-shirt to redeem your voucher. They hang around the entrance gate or the bus stop. If you don't see them, perhaps they go to the toilet. The palace itself is grandeur, with many chambers where the head of states and high-rank officials meet and discuss things. But you can only see from the outside. The doors are open, but you cannot come in. Be prepared for large crowds as many tour groups include this place in their package, thanks to the relatively low entrance ticket. There are three floors to explore. On the top floor, there is a chopper that might have been made retired. Overall, this place is worth-visiting to have a glimpse of what royal chambers actually look like. It adds to our knowledge of Vietnamese history.

We visited this historic site on our own, and it was absolutely worth it. Walking through the halls gave us a deeper appreciation of Vietnam’s past. The architecture, preserved rooms, and exhibits tell powerful stories of leadership, war, and resilience. It was a DIY visit, but everything was easy to navigate and informative. A must-see when in Saigon for history lovers and curious minds alike.

Palatul Independenței, numit și Palatul Reunificării, este un reper istoric în orașul Ho Chi Minh, recunoscut ca una dintre cele zece relicve naționale speciale ale Vietnamului. Construit pe locul fostului Palat Norodom, a fost martorul transformării Saigonului, servind drept palat prezidențial în timpul Războiului din Vietnam. Imaginea iconică a tancurilor care au trecut prin porțile sale în 1975 a marcat sfârșitul războiului și reunificarea Vietnamului.

Palatul prezintă o combinație unică de arhitectură modernă de la mijlocul secolului și tradițională vietnameză. Campusul său vast de 120.000 de metri pătrați include sute de camere mobilate luxos, spații exterioare uimitoare și copaci vechi care datează din epoca colonială franceză.

Astăzi, palatul este deschis publicului, oferind o privire în istoria Vietnamului. Expoziția "De la Palatul Norodom la Palatul Independenței 1868-1966" oferă informații despre călătoria de un secol a clădirii, de la sediul puterii coloniale franceze la un simbol al independenței vietnameze.
