Booked weeks earlier and yet there was no my room when I arrived there. The 6th floor has no elevator and it was difficult to climb up there especially with luggage. And the alternative to that arrangement was not pleasant with a shower lack of door but a curtain only.

This hotel is very well situated in Barcelona. It's near the university and Placa de Catalunya. It's easy to get around the on the metro (Universitat station). The room I rented was for 4 people. It was located on floor 1 1/2. This means we had to walk up the stairs to bring our luggage as the elevator only stopped on the full floors. Our room had a private room with a queen bed. There was also a queen bed in the loft area. The private room was located facing the street. The hotel is right beside a pub. Because we were staying on a Saturday night, the noise from the pub was loud. However, due to walking around Barcelona all day, it didn't bother us as we were too tired to hear it. I would stay here again. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and the room was comfortable.
