Smutsigt hotel, svartmögel i Onsen, obekväma futons, och den utlovade frukostbuffén var istället en förbestämd frukost som serverades vid en viss tidpunkt. Vi avbröt vistelsen och bytte till ett annat hotel istället.

温泉の温度がちょっと低い気がします。気温が高い時期だったので大丈夫でしたが、冬場は物足りないかもせれません。
設備
部屋にドライヤーがあるのに鏡付近にはコンセントがありません。鏡を見ながらの使用ができませんでした。仕方なく大浴場へ行って髪を整えていました。
スタッフ
中国人スタッフ（？）に「あちらのお菓子は宅配可能ですか？」と尋ねたところ、「どこがおかしいですか？」と聞き返された。'お菓子'と’おかしい’ を聞き間違えたと思うが、緊急時のことを考えると不安が残る。

My partner points out about spider webs on the windows, but nothing was serious. I accidentally left my accessory in the cabinet, but the hotel had no problem sending back to my address in 3 days time. Thanks to the hotel.

修善寺のメイン処(は修禅寺かな)から徒歩10分あれば着きます。目の前はジオパークミュージアム(バス停だと修善寺総合会館)。近くにコンビニもあります。
一人で宿泊しましたが、最上階の和室部屋で一人では空間をもて遊ぶくらいの感じで布団は最初から敷いてあり、すぐ横になれるので良かったです。因みに、浴衣は部屋に無い(帯だけあります)ので、フロントデスク近くのとこから持ち出します。
お風呂は内風呂が2つの浴槽で露天風呂に1つの浴槽で、洗い場は沢山あります。お風呂のお湯がちょっと低いので冬は露天風呂がツラくなる⁈
ただ不思議とお風呂から出るとしばらく汗が引かないくらいになります。
食事は朝食のみでしたがバイキングで提供種類は十分、特にお味噌汁は出汁の香りが良かったです。
スタッフの対応はチェックイン時は丁寧な対応で修善寺辺りの情報も説明頂きました。また朝食会場では、おはようございますの挨拶で心地良く迎えて頂きました。
規制のおかげか何処でも静かで、全体的な評価としては充分であり、満足できる宿だと感じました。

ただ予約してから３０分もたっていなかったのでしょうがない。

In my stay of 2 nights, we met one staff only, at the front desk. We could not see one more, wherever at onsen or lobby or shop. Efficent management ?? I could not judge.

The facilities were dated, which I knew going in. But I wasn’t prepared for the level of decline: none of the restaurants/bars were open (permanently, it seems), the front desk was hardly staffed, the lobby wasn’t an inviting place to spend time. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the onsen (hot spring bath). But no meals was unexpected & a bit inconvenient. My reservation supposedly included breakfast, but I was told “no food” by the front desk (and I do speak Japanese, confirmed the food situation.) We made do with the nearby convenience store and found a local place for dinner that turned out to be great. For the price, the onsen experience was worth it, but we had to adjust our expectations.
