Front desk doesn’t really have a person there all the time, particularly during the day. You have to be buzzed in and call them if you have an issue. The building is in need of updating. The location is excellent. Very walkable to all main attractions and if you have a car, there is a parking garage next door. It was simple and basic, but if I ever came back to Reykjavik, I don’t think I’d stay here again.

We arrived late after the reception desk closed but we had instructions to ring the bell, staff would let us in and our key would be in the room. Arrived after a long travel day with lots of problems and nobody answered the bell for half an hour to let us in.

We needed a place to sleep for one night that was a reasonable price in a good location and this fit the bill nicely. We saw no staff during our visit but didn't need any. You ring a bell to get inside and keys are in your room. There is luggage storage in an unloced room before and after your stay, but you do need to be a registered guest to get buzzed in. Room was clean, toilet paper was thick, shower was fine though the only toiletries offered were packets of combo body wash/shampoo. Room is not 100% dark when it is light outside and road noise was a little disruptive but not too bad. All in all this hotel was exactly what we needed between our cruise and our flight the following day. Would stay here again.

A nice hotel in a great location. Very clean, spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Fly Bus stop literally a minute away. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location for touring the city ! Parking is a bit pricey near the hotel but free parking in the street after 9pm.

Parking was a nightmare. Got into a lot upon arrival and realized I couldn’t get out. Parking should be explained

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean. However, it did lack a few hooks for the towels and a shelf for our toothbrushes. The hotel was on a rather busy corner, and it was ten days before the summer solstice. People were in the street until late into the night, and our room faced the street and therefore was rather noisy. I have to commend the staff for their great communication. Obviously, this was not the Ritz, but it was certainly worth every penny we spent.

I picked this hotel because it wasn’t a good location and the cheapest I could find that wasn’t a hostile. Walking distance to all the sites a block from the grocery store a block from the food court a block from the airport bus. The hotel is very small and old. There was mold in my shower and they told me that it hadn’t been renovated, but really I feel that a good cleaning would have been sufficient. I saw a spider in my room which didn’t bother me too much the room is on the small side, but it was just one person. It might’ve been a bit tight for two people. Hótel.com charge me for the room and the hotel charge me for the room. I asked the hotel for a refund. They said they would do it, but they never did so I had to dispute the duplicate charge with my credit card.
