In the heat of summer stayed here on a layover and the AC units were not working. The staff told that AC in Germany just does not get cold. The hallways were significantly cooler so I thought this odd. I had to request a room change because it was unbearable and difficult to fall asleep but the second room was the same. Will not recommend this stay if you can avoid. There are lots of other options around the train station for an overnight.

While the staff were very pleasant and helpful, that was the only good thing about this hotel. The carpet in the room was heavily stained, there were ants in the bathroom, no fridge and the AC nearly worked …if you’re looking for a cheap stay then sure, but otherwise not a great hotel .

While the area around the hotel is busy, it is also convenient. The hotel was spotless, with a great breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Good value for money.

Air conditioning wasn’t working. Stains on drapes and carpets. Breakfast was decent.

Very close to the main train station, easily found. I arrived a bit early and my room had not been cleaned yet, I was moved to the one next door that was ready. Hand wash and shower gel / shampoo offered. Nice buffet breakfast.

As it is a stone’s throw from the bus and train stations, the shops are mostly eating or drinking places, but lots of shops in the nearby train station again mostly eating places including Macdonalds and Burger King but also ATM’s, banks a post office and even some souvenir shops. Well worth a look around. We also found the local Irish pub O’reilly’s sports bar about ten minutes walk away so we spent a pleasant afternoon there. They do have a good menu although the nachos we ordered were a bit overdone. But to be fair the place was packed due to the six nations rugby game and a football game was on. Will definitely be returning to this hotel again. Although it is not a swanky modern hotel, more of a traditional hotel, it was very clean and tidy. The cooked breakfast choice did let it down a little as it was quite expensive and wasn’t too hot. But there was a good choice of the usual continental breakfast cold buffet.

Good value for the price. The room was clean.

Good location for easy travel connection. Big choose from restaurants and bars. Good breakfast, helping staff. Very noisy in the night, in hotel offer from hotels.com was showed that has a AC, but in fact they are very old and not working. Terrible temperature in the room, from the hotel given to me an AC with water, a fake one, nothing changed, you must to seat over him to feel cooling. The towels and linens change on the 4th day after yout stay and this is only for 110euro..

Worst hotel without proper toilet cleaning and broken lights in the room . Pretty pathetic and they charged me 140 euro per night.
