Ótimo
The staff was very helpful. We appreciated being able to store our luggage until we could check in. The historical aspect of the hotel being a former prison was amazing. The proximity to the Chapel bridge, Lion Monument and train station was superb. We highly recommend the Barabas Hostel.

Fun little theme! A bit hot with just the small fan they give you in the room but seriously the property is cute and close to everything.

Great location in interesting setting. Our main complaint was that the room was very stuffy and hot. There was a fan in the room but difficult to keep three of us cool. We just landed in Switzerland and this was fine for night one to recover from jet lag.

Very cool to stay in an old prison! We arrived before check-in and they let us store our bags in a luggage room (which is unlocked and near the main entrance). The room is small, 2 twin sized beds. The sink is in the room. The shower pressure was great. No hairdryer but you can get one at the front desk with a deposit. Very basic stay but was a great location for our 1 night in Lucerne!

Love the area, attractions are walkable. Old town Luzern is dreamy. The room just gets warm coz it was heatwave, but there was a fan but not enough to cool the room.
