Great stay for a small group! Staff was great and communicative, there was clear instruction on how to get to and from the Chania airport using buses or taxi. Fantastic location to old town Chania! Great beach access as well. Would definitely recommend again. Room can get a little stuffy, but AC fan works perfect

Apartment itself for the money is pretty good, location is great (right by the sea, beach 2 min walk, old town 5-7 min walk). Some things didn’t work like hot water kettle (we used pot to boil water). Apartment uses solar heater for hot water as probably most do in Greece. Main reason for lower score (4 out of 5) is poor communication from owners. Apparently you should let them know when you arrive in advance, to be fair they mentioned that in check-in instruction but having booked 6 places on the trip I forgot about it. All other Airbnb owners reached out themselves asking about arrival. This owner did not and we had to wait with suitcases at closed door. She for the most part doesn’t pickup the phone (we used WhatsApp) nor does she respond to messages in any reasonable time. We ran out of cold water and texted in the morning only to hear back late night when we were already sleeping. We took cold showers first 2 days because there is simply not enough hot water for 2 people and she did not provide any instructions how to use electric heater nor did she mention in her check-in instructions hot water issue and availability of electric heater. So I would give 2 out of 5 for communicating with guests and poor response times.

Lovely big space with a great terrace. Hot water is solar but has a heater if needed. Kitchen is quite well equipped although youre so close to so much good food, you won't need it. Washing machine is a total bonus. Parking isnt allowed directly outside but we had no problem parking in the next street after dropping off bags. Call the owner on arrival and you'll be inside 5 minutes later. We would absolutely stay again.

Evan’s House was a lovely place in a perfect location for walking to the water and restaurants. It is beautifully designed for couples and the terrace is lovely.

Nice place in a nice loaction

We used Evans House as a quick overnight stop before travelling on to our holiday villa the next day. In spite of our late arrival, our host was happy to come and open up the property for us. The facilities were great, very modern and smart. If you're a family of four, then the sleeping arrangements may be tricky (two doubles in the same room), but if you're flexible, it's not really an issue. Take not of the phone number in your confirmation email to enable quick contact.

This was a great place to stay when exploring Chania and it's surrounding towns around Crete. The place was clean and located in the perfect spot. We will definitely be staying there again if given the chance.

We had a wonderful experience! Great accommodations and location. Room is very nice, clean, and cozy. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, and stores. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Chania.
