Not bad for the money, breakfast and coffee not very tasty!

Terrible experience, rusted everything, water damage on walls and on the floor, biten wood chair, dirty shade, poor light, disrespectful staff, disgusting common areas

When I approached the bathroom, I noticed a smell. I thought my fiancé used the facilities but it turns out the smell never left. The odor was sewage vapors coming from the bottom of the toilet. There’s was also sewage water coming out of the bottom of the toilet that we unfortunately had walked through. Our socks were soaked with toilet water. My fiancé had to sleep with shoes on so he would not slip on the toilet water when he got up in the late hours to urinate. I tried to bring the situation to their attention and was told at one point there were no other rooms. Later I complained again and was treated as if it was our fault for not complaining sooner. We would like to know why we were charged for a stay in conditions that were dangerous to our health and safety. One of us could have fallen off the unsteady toilet onto a floor that was covered in sewerage water.

The first room we were given smelled horrible and then we found mold growing in several places. The worst spot was the night stand. All we could think is someone threw up on it and it was never properly cleaned. It was so bad we requested they give us a new room. The manager was very nice and helpful. She switched us to a new room but the room we moved to was much smaller and instead of queen beds they were just full sized but we made it work. The phone in the second room was covered in mold and the microwave clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was mold growing on the glass plate inside. My daughter was really upset with the hotel and asked if we could go home within a hour of checking in because it was so nasty and she didn’t feel comfortable being there. We did stay but we won’t be staying there ever again. When checking out and loading the car up my sister and I were rolling all our things out on a cart while my sister had her 1 year old on her hip trying to help me steer the cart. One of the bag fell off and everything (all our food and plastic cutlery) fell out. We were about 5 feet from 3 employees when this happened. None of them offered to help. The one closest to us leaned over a laundry cart and continued playing on his phone as we picked everything up. Other than that the staff was friendly but again the hotel was dirty and moldy. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

We stay here every year and we are always happy.

It was a very quiet clean well equipped room. Location was excellent. There is a nice wooded area to connect with nature & walk my service dog. The man at the reception desk was very helpful, friendly &. welcoming. Some of the women at the front desk were not so friendly but did their job. The maintenance man was very helpful & professional. The house keeping lady also was very kind & accommodating. I did have a problem with the laundry. It was very dark with no light. I was trying to dry my clothes & put the $2.50 in the dryer. However my clothes were as wet as when I put them in. All in all I would stay here again & have done so many time previously.

We just needed a place to stay for the night and it did the job. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed in, but neither the best. I liked how close it was to the beach and the park across the street. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay overall. It was just the bathroom the needed some upkeep.
