The beds cover and bed sheet slide off in the night with movement, which was bothersome. The staff was very kind. Area had limited food options. Overall the rooms were clean and people were kind.

Ótimo Location, location, location! Love that the hotel property is immediately next to the train station, but extremely quiet. I've started there a dozen times, and always requested the side facing the mountains, which makes me happy because it's absolutely peaceful. Quite 2 convenience stores and 2 supermarkets full of ready-to-eat meals within quick walking distance for budget meals. Best of all, getting to the train station is absolutely easy.

Ótimo I was visiting Uozu Aquarium (the first to be built in Japan, in 1913). The aquarium is a few minutes drive away and not so convenient to get to, but the hotel is next to the Uozu train station, which is very convenient, especially since there was heavy snow on the day I left. Check out is 11:00, so it could wait in my room until the last minute before a very short walk to go and board the 11:09 train.

Bom For short stays is a very convenient hotel, right by the station and it had free private parking. Breakfast is good and not expensive.

Fantástico In this little town they don't expect to see westerners but they worked very hard at ensuring we were looked after well in our brief stay. The English-speaking staff made sure that the other staff knew of our language difficulties and made the stay a pleasure. The convenient location adjacent to the railway stations was a critical factor in our choice and it worked well.
