Location was an excellent, and the breakfast at royal host was an excellent, the staff was everybody very welcoming and kind. I’ll recommend this hotel and I’ll use again myself

Location is very convenient, 3 mins walk to Yokohama station NW exit. About 45 min from HND. Many stores, restaurants nearby. Room is very compact for 3 people. Breakfast is good but almost same daily. Affordable for family.

the location of the hotel is great, its in close to so many restaurants and to local stores and malls. the hotel staff was terrific and very helpful. the room was very clean and was good size. the bathrooms were clean and always well stocked. the cleaning crew was very polite and accommodating. Overall, a great experience in Japan which was helped by having a great place to stay and relax after the days excursions.

Great location just behind Yokohama train station (as the name suggests). Short walk to the station and lots of shops and bars around the local area for anything you need. Staff were amazing, the room was large, bright and clean with comfortable beds!

Booked this hotel for convenience but we were caught by surprise. The hotel is extremely clean, very comfortable for kids and us, is close to so many good restaurants and major shopping area. Yokohama has always been one of our favorite cities in Japan, so we will return.

The hotel was really nice. I enjoyed my stay. The complimentary bath salts to soak in the tub was a nice and surprising added touch. The add on for breakfast was well worth it. I definitely recommend The Richmond Hotel.

The check-in was efficient by machine. But because of this there is no information given about the room or breakfast, so we had to figure it out ourselves. Breakfast involves going outside around a walkway on the 2nd floor to the eaterie across the building and presenting the voucher to gain access to the buffet (which is also open to the public). The food was good however, with quite a lot of choice. The room was quite spacious with separate toilet and bathroom. The sink was in the bedroom itself. The hotel location is really close to the NW exit from Yokohama station, so it was easy to get to with suitcases. There are many restaurants and bars in the local area, but also quick trains to the harbour abd Chinatown.
