The room we stayed in was on level 2 street facing. We had a terrible night with constant noise from the next door occupants. The rooms at the hotel are clearly not noise proof. Whilst no one expects complete sound proof. At least it should control the loud noises. We were also disturbed early morning with a huge touristy bus trying to park on the street on side of our room. The driver’s ongoing yelling woke us up well before we intended. Won’t be staying at this hotel again.

The property was lovely, the staff was kind and helpful. We had a fabulous time in Queenstown. The water taxi was very convenient for getting to town. One of the features that stood out was the breakfast each morning. There was a huge selection of different options for a satisfying breakfast and the food was quite good for buffet style. We would definitely recommend staying at the DoubleTree in Queenstown if you're visiting for any length of time.
