Ideally positioned between the highway and the ancient trail, the hotel serves as an important stopover for travelers exploring the area. It is also located near the boundary of Yushan National Park. Surrounded by mountains, including Junda Mountain, Wangxiang Mountain, and Yushan, the hotel offers expansive views and is an excellent starting point for climbing Yushan or visiting the Batongguan Trail. The natural Dongpu hot spring water used by the hotel originates from the foothills of Wangxiang Mountain. The water supply is abundant throughout the year and never runs dry. The spring water is clear, colorless, and odorless. It is a mildly alkaline carbonated spring with a temperature of approximately 47°C.
