Breakfast was wonderful and this hotel is perfectly located within Antwerp. My only comment is that, parking should be included as part of the room rate.

Mice Rat infested in the bar and breakfast area. We avoided breakfast despite paying for this service. Poor show

Everything was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of a trip across Germany and Belgium. It was by far the best hotel we stayed in. We ate in the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary one evening and then in the bar area other times. All the food (including breakfast) was first class and there are quite a few areas you can go and enjoy a drink after dinner. We also used the pool and jacuzzi which were both very well maintained and clean. But, the main thing for us, was the staff in the restaurant and bar. They were amazing, super-friendly, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and we're always happy to give help and advice. An absolute credit to Hotel Van Der Valk, well done.

Decent hotel for a short visit.

Good location, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, sauna , pool and Jacuzzi are perfect. But steam room is out of order.

Make sure if you book this hotel that breakfast is included - otherwise breakfast is very expensive. I just assumed my booking of a nice European hotel would include breakfast by default - but no!

Breakfast was excellent: wide selection amd fresh. Staff were generally friendly. The room was clean but housekeeping are a whole different story. They need to up the cleaning standard. For example, when making the bed and there are used towels left in the bed, the bed will be made with the towels inside! The housekeeping staff could not communicate with us as they were non-English speaking. We were stayed a whole week.

Absolutely beautiful art deco hotel with fantastic bar. The pool and spa area could have been exceptional but the pool was too cold. However the mattresses are too soft and move arpu d on the bed so i had to remake the bed several times a night.

Clean and tidy room, it would have been nice, if not polite for them to inform us that they would be decorating in our corridor. Otherwise great hotel located in a great position
