Our ac was on all night and was not able to cool down the room. My bed was so uncomfortable I could not sleep and the price for the room was completely outrageous. Make sure you book a room that faces the Main Street otherwise you will have a room like mine facing the garage with cars 10 feet away and be obligated to keep the blinds closed for privacy. Hotel property jut outside was filthy and full of bums so unsafe for a family. Really bad choice but who knew…

Very nice stay. For me, the hotel was very relaxing. I enjoyed the view from the Fog Room, too. The hotel was very convenient to Pike Place Market area.

During our recent stay at The Charter Hotel in downtown Seattle we found our room and the other amenities the hotel had to offer to be just what we were looking for. The staff really made the experience. On check in we were greeted with enthusiasm and friendliness. The staff at Cinder & Salt were top notch. The Fog room has a lovely view, good drinks and noshies, and is a great place to watch the sun set. We would definitely recommend The Charter.
