We originally 'thought' we had booked the Hugo Boutique hotel, but ended up at the H Hotel. They are all owned by the same local group - not sure if this was due to the hotel or Expedia. St Julian's is the 'party' area of Malta. If you're looking for a quiet vacation, this would not be the choice for you, bars are open until 5AM. If you want to be in the middle of things, this would be perfect. The hotel has a breakfast buffet, which was excellent. The pool is on the roof of the tower. Seating directly around the pool is limited, but they've done a great job of covered and additional seating. Note, there are parties on the rooftop most nights, in season. There are plenty of food and beverage options too. Hugo's owns a number of the restaurant's in their direct vicinity. We loved their Sushi Lounge. There are a number of other restaurants and shopping in the area too. It's also convenient for various tours.

Hotel itself was excellent clean modern. Great staff. Only ate at breakfast which was excellent food and choices. Only downside location for noise if your over 40 if your 18/25 excellent location

Nice clean hotel, right in the middle of the party district in St Julian. Meaning your widows will rattle every night until at least 3-4am, from the many bars downstairs. Fun atmosphere, if you came to party - but not if you wish to sleep. Otherwise, no major complaints about the property.

This is a lovely hotel however understanding it is a lively location (their Ibiza) must be considered as even with double glazing you WILL hear the noise through the night. If you’re there to party every night it’s PERFECT. You can chill by the pool during the day and party all night without having to worry about getting back. If you’re booking as a child free (adult only) hotel and do not sleep through constant party noise then it’s not for you. The food was great the staff, were great, the hot tubs and pool were great.
