There's no AC in the room or air circulation, and the heat was controlled elsewhere. I texted the owner twice about the heat, and it dropped by a bit but rebounded. Unless I left the door open, and the room opens to the kitchen, there's nowhere for the heat to go. I was sweltering for most of the stay. The bedding doesn't include a flat sheet between the blanket, which was a bit odd. They provide 2 bath towels but no hand towel, so I brought my own based on previous reviews. The shower water pressure is a bit low. Fine for waterfall, but barely adequate for the other shower options. The provided shampoo, conditioner & body wash was good quality. Woken by the fire alarm battery dying, which was beeping at ear-deafeningly levels every 5 min. They came after 10 am to fix it, but I suffered for a few hours even with earplugs. Wi-Fi is speedy enough to watch streaming video with medium quality. Kitchen drawers should be labeled so I don't have to open each one to find dishes & utensils. They did have a working umbrella, which came in handy during the snowstorm. It's a 10-15 walk from Finch station thru the parking lot, and there's lots of food options down Yonge St. Neighbourhood is safe, and Willowdale Ave is busy during the day.

Forgot to bring towels for the next day. Hard to communicate with host via text.

In general, it’s a good place and the owner is kind. The beds could be better and it’s a little noisy, but otherwise, it’s good.

The room was clean and not badly appointed. However it was very small. There was no room to walk around. Also, we were very hot. The heat was blasting. We could hardly sleep, it was so hot. Could have been 85 degrees F in the dead of Winter. No staff in attendance, and minimal communication.

Room was clean and the private bathroom was very clean and the massaging shower was a very nice experience!

The house was clean, had plenty of parking space and was super close to the subway station.

Clean rooms but we thought we will have access to more than 1 room but they were quick to respond to our needs

House was very clean and quiet. There is a bus stop in front of the house. There is ample shared freezer & fridge space (1 shelf/room). Since several rooms share the same restroom, the bedrooms need their own towel rack. Also my room at the back of the house was quite cold; there is no individual thermostat. I had to wear my heavy weight fleece to bed and put clothes along the window ledge to block the cold. The kitchen needs dish towels and proper wash cloths. The only item for washing dishes were scratchy pads, which had damaged the surface of all frying pans.

Owner fell short on sharing information. No instructions about how to work the complex shower, that there were different shelves in refrigerator allocated to each room, where the silverware was etc.There was a floor vent that is broken so both I and the chair to the desk kept falling into it. I can send a picture if this app allows it.
