Gem of a find. Highly recommend!

It was a nice place in downtown Riverhead, friendly staff and they were helpful, room was nice and big, parking on premises, will visit again in the future, thank you for the experience.

My family enjoyed our stay. The hotel and area was surprisingly quiet being that it was near a strip of restaurants, bars and things to do. The hotel was clean, but the outdoor patio could’ve used a little more attention. Danielle at the front desk is the sweetest, she made our stay feel inviting and personable. The gentleman covering the desk at night was not as helpful, specifically when I inquired about laundry, but also nice. On the website it states the hotel offers laundry, when I called down to verify if it was a guest laundry, I was just told no. It would have been nice if he has suggested the laundromat a block over or the use of the guest laundry at the Hyatt vs. spending 10 minute searching for one. Nevertheless, we appeared to have stayed during a slow week, which I didn’t mind at all because parking was not an issue and it allowed me to enjoy breakfast. Breakfast was simple yet just enough and delicious. My only suggestions would be to add a couple more cereal options, add a meat option, small ice bowl/maker for guest without having the front desk constantly going back and forth to the kitchen. I was slightly disappointed to learn the restaurant wasn’t opened at all. I was under the impression it just wasn’t open at the time I arrived - considering it was one of the things I book based on - having an onsite restaurant. It wasn’t a deal breaker, just wanted to experience of all The Preston had to offer. Overall, I rate my stay 9/10.

Great location, near North Fork Wineries, friendly staff and clean room. Highly recommended if you're doing a weekend winery trip.

This hotel is nicer than it appears in photos! Contemporary, with beautiful artwork and spacious rooms. Big bathroom with plenty of space. Guest also have access to the hotel pool across the street, which had live music. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Appreciated the on-site parking and walk ability to nearby restaurants. Complimentary breakfast was perfect. I wish we had more time to stay! Would highly recommend.

Check in was a breeze. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Room was amazing
