Excursão de um dia a Puffing Billy e à vida selvagem da Ilha Phillip

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our guide and driver, Mr. Simon, for his exceptional care and attentiveness throughout the tour. As we were travelling with our elderly parents, we especially appreciated that he thoughtfully checked in with us from time to time to see if we needed a toilet break during the journey. His kindness and consideration made the trip much more comfortable for our family. We were also delighted that we drive past the iconic Formula 1 track before heading to Phillip Island. It was a wonderful bonus that added to the overall experience. The café stop before we crossed the bridge was perfectly timed and much appreciated—it certainly saved us from our growling stomachs! We truly admire Mr. Simon’s dedication and hard work as managing both the driving and guiding responsibilities on such a long itinerary is no easy task, yet he remained professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. Thank you, Mr. Simon for the enjoyable trip!!

Lorraine was such a lovely and friendly guide, explaining and sharing a lot about melbourne, the dandenong ranges, puffing billy history and facts about the wildlife in phillip island. We really enjoyed our day, it's an experience you should not miss when visiting melbourne.

Matt has been fabulous as a guide. Shared important info on the trip to puffing billy and Phillips island. Recommended food options available during stops which I felt the timing given to enjoy each experience of the day trip fantastic. A little disappointed that I didn't get to witness a larger group of the blue penguins coming out of the sea, but along the walking track, did see many instances of the little cuties.

Didn't expect Puffing Billing rides was an 1 hour ride and sit till backside pain but lucky can sit back to relax instead of hanging legs outside. Good experience but the view are mostly forest. Very friendly peoples who will have when passby. Penguins Island was a little dissapointed cos the penguins did not come in mass and only a few here and there. But highlight was the sky which can see lots of stars!! Note: Didn't have lunch and quick dinner at Penguins Island restaurant. Lastly Thanks to the Tour Guide whom is thoughtful and share us some jokes to keep us laughing.

This Puffing Billy and Phillip Island Penguin Parade 1 Day tour was absolutely worth it from start to finish. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and packed with unforgettable moments. Riding the historic Puffing Billy Railway through the lush forests felt magical, and the views along the way were just stunning. The highlight of the day was definitely the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. Watching the little penguins waddle ashore at sunset was such a unique and heartwarming experience — something you really have to see in person. A special shoutout to our guide, Simon, who truly made the trip exceptional. He was funny, friendly, and kept everything running perfectly on time while making the journey fun and engaging. You can tell he’s really good at what he does and genuinely cares about the group’s experience. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria — it’s a full day of memories you won’t forget.

Terry proporcionou um passeio excelente em 2 de dezembro de 2025. Ele conhecia bem o seu país, manteve-se paciente e o ambiente leve. O passeio de trem Puffing Billy foi o ponto alto. Avistei um equidna, vários kookaburras e muitos coelhos marrons. Ele também nos levou a lugares pitorescos que mostravam claramente a região. O jantar foi peixe e batatas fritas frescos em um dos seus lugares favoritos. A Parada dos Pinguins ofereceu uma vista próxima dos pinguins retornando à costa e foi especial de assistir. Saí com boas lembranças e recomendaria este passeio para um dia tranquilo e agradável.

Obrigado, Matt, por ser nosso guia maravilhoso. O passeio de Puffing Billy foi muito agradável, com belas vistas ao longo do caminho. Sentar nos trilhos do trem foi uma ótima experiência. Matt também é um motorista muito seguro e diminuiu a velocidade do veículo algumas vezes para que pudéssemos ver e tirar fotos dos animais selvagens mais de perto. A recomendação dele de peixe e batatas fritas golden fry e também dimsim é deliciosa. Os pinguins são muito fofos e adoráveis, vê-los sair da água e caminhar foi uma experiência única.

Graemes foi maravilhoso. Ele foi muito simpático e acolhedor. O seu comentário também foi interessante. O Puffing Billy estava melhor do que eu me lembrava da última vez que vim em 2010. O desfile dos pinguins também foi ótimo. As pequenas maravilhas eram muito fofas. No entanto, houve alguns visitantes que não seguiram as instruções e usaram as suas câmaras com flash, apesar dos múltiplos avisos, e isso quase estragou toda a experiência. Pode ser desafiador para pessoas com pouca visão noturna. A temperatura é realmente congelante, mas ainda assim é uma experiência incrível.

Matt, nosso guia, foi muito entusiasmado e divertido. Ele se esforçou para garantir que tivéssemos um tempo gratificante e nos deu dicas para aproveitar ao máximo nossa experiência. Ele também era um motorista muito seguro. Eu me diverti muito. Voltamos depois das 23h, após a observação dos pinguins-azuis.
