Overall, this trip was good and recommended, especially if you want to understand and explore Armenia in just 1 day from Tbilisi. The guide, Hatuna, was very helpful, friendly, and informative. She explained a lot about Armenia, including the culture, history, and destinations we visited. She also took care of the group very well throughout the trip. The itinerary was quite packed, so we only had limited time to enjoy each destination. However, I understand this is because the distance from Tbilisi to Armenia is quite far, and there are many places covered in one day. For first-timers who want to learn more about Armenia in a short time, this trip is definitely recommended. Just make sure to prepare enough energy because it’s a long journey and full-day activity. One thing that could be improved is the mini bus. It felt quite cramped, especially for a long trip, and hopefully in the future there can be a more spacious vehicle with better AC for a more comfortable experience.
Amazing experience exploring Armenia’s UNESCO heritage sites and the beautiful city of Yerevan 🇦🇲✨ The tour was well-organized, informative, and comfortable from start to finish. Loved learning about the country’s rich history, culture, and architecture while enjoying the stunning scenery along the way.
hi I am victoria from Indonesia. I joined this company for trip 2 times. It was good experience and rhough day because one day tour to different country but very worth it. tour guide as a driver and we were on the small minivan because only 8 people. don’t forget to bring cash (lari/dram) because at Sevan lake they only accept cash.
Our tour guide, Morris, he could speak around five languages and managed the group really well. He was informative, organised, and gave clear instructions throughout the day. One particularly helpful tip he gave was to exchange about 50 GEL into Armenian dram beforehand, which made things much smoother once we crossed the border for food The itinerary covers a lot, but be prepared—it’s a very long day (roughly 7:00am to 11:30pm). Because of this, I’d strongly recommend bringing your own snacks or picking up food along the way One downside was the restaurant stop at Lake Sevan, it was quite expensive and only accepted cash. You can bail and find other food Also the bus was super cramped and hot, no air con and the driver kept turning on the heater! I had to move to the front to get some air flow through the window In Yerevan, while it was great to visit the capital, the free time felt a bit rushed. Only got 45min
it was a wonderful experience because you are going to armenia in one day and not spend a dime on a hotel. the minibus should be upgeaded to a bigger more comfortable one especially on long drives. the ac and heater are workijg though. Pata the guide was very helpful and understanding, he taight us everything we need to know about Armenia. overall, it is a highly recommended activity anyone should try once in georgia..
This tour was a very convenient way to travel from Tbilisi to Yerevan while enjoying sightseeing along the way. It felt like getting two things done at once — transfer and sightseeing in one comfortable trip. The journey and immigration process were smooth. Our guide, Paata, accompanied us throughout the border crossing and made everything easy and stress-free. Although we had to walk through immigration and customs on both sides, there was no need to change vehicles. I also appreciated that it was possible to take the tour one-way, as I stayed in Yerevan. The tour saved me time and energy compared to taking a regular minibus or arranging a separate private transfer. Overall, the guide was professional, the transfer was comfortable, and the itinerary was enjoyable. One small suggestion would be to include a visit to Dilijan Old Town in the future. We only had a short stop for photos near the “three people” statue and the lake area. Overall, a smooth and well-organized tour.
Did this 2nd trip with Ushba Travels and it was 5-star again. It’s a long ~17-hour journey — we started at 7am and were dropped back at midnight. All mentioned stops were covered along with 2 major breaks for lunch and dinner. Free water bottles provided, and the bus also stopped for currency exchange. We faced issues at Armenia border. Officers were rude, one said UAE residents need visa while another said they didn’t, wasting about an hour. Saudi residents need their Iqama translated into Armenian (not English), so bring that translation. Pakistani passengers may face extra scrutiny since Pakistan previously didn’t recognize Armenia as a country, but they were eventually let through. One co-traveler denied entry because he didn’t have his Saudi Iqama translated into Armenian. Besides border hassle, the journey was excellent, stunning scenery, though tiring. Save energy for the end. Guide Paata is awesome, & big kudos to driver Giorgi for getting us back safely without single hiccup.
It was a very enjoyable trip. We were guided by Pasta, who was very detailed in explaining the background of the places we visited, which made the tour feel more friendly. I highly recommend this tour!
