We had such an amazing experience with Seunghyun! My sister and I are complete beginners with makeup, so we wanted to learn from a Korean makeup artist—and she exceeded all our expectations. I can be quite shy about being barefaced due to my eczema and dry skin, but Seunghyun was incredibly professional and empathetic. She never made me feel uncomfortable and was so patient in teaching us how to properly apply makeup, while also explaining what works best for our face shapes and skin types. Highly recommend! Bonus points for how accommodating they were—I booked just two days in advance and they responded so quickly. The location also feels like a hidden gem, with a hair salon, bakery, and café all within a short walking distance. Definitely a great experience. I wholeheartedly recommend our makeup artist!

we had a good makeup experience at roa makeup! the makeup artists were professional and pleasant and understood what we wanted.

I made a personal makeup appointment at 9am by ROA.Makeup and it was a pleasant experience. First I had a consultation which type of make up would suit me and after we defined what I want we got started. She explained every step she made patiently and gave me advice (step by step) how to recreate the makeup she did. After approx. 90min we were done and my makeup looked good the whole day. At the end I could take fotos of the products she used and also the brushes she used. If you want some personal makeup advice I would definitly recommend to make an appointment!

Roamakeup was very friendly! My friend and I had a personal makeup session with her. First, you fill out a short form about your preferences and how your skin reacts to makeup. During the consultation, she gives helpful advice and looks carefully at your face shape, lips, eyes, etc., and shows how to work best with different products. While applying the makeup, she explains everything in detail. What I also really liked was that she set aside all the products she used on me so I could take photos afterward and know exactly what they were. She also provided information about where the products come from. Her English was very good, and I felt completely comfortable throughout the session. Highly recommented !

I had a great experience at ROA Makeup. The stylist really understood the clean, cool-toned look I was going for and tailored everything to suit my face shape. The makeup was refined, not heavy, and looked very natural in photos. The hairstyle also complemented the overall look perfectly. The studio was professional and efficient, and the whole process felt very comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a polished Korean-style makeup.

The location was conveniently located in Hongdae, and the makeup artist gave me a form to fill out the style of makeup I wanted, and indicated that I could show her a sample photo. she helped me put on a makeup that was exactly the same as the photo I showed her. I told her the makeup was for indoor and outdoor photoshots and I requested a shimmery look. She tailored the makeup to my request and the results were pleasant.

Im from Mexico and wanted to learn techniques from a korean makeup artist and I found this place here at Klook, it was amazing! Even though I was scared a little bit, I could totally get and understand what ahe was explaining. She did half of my face makeup and then I followed her steps on the other side of my face. I learned a lot and I highly recommend to try one of the makeup class :) its so much fun and knowledge. Also, she was so kind and had much patience with me hahaha

great experience! Roa did my makeup, and she explained before we started what would be best for my face shape and features. the experience took about an hour, and as we went through each step she stopped to explain and show each product. definitely left with some good tips and products to buy at Olive young!
