IRONMAN ADVISORY 2026

We are excited to announce that the IRONMAN 70.3 Lapu-Lapu triathlon will take place in Mactan on August 9, 2026, Sunday. This thrilling event will feature: 1.9 km ocean swim, 90 km bike ride, 21.1 km run.

The race will begin at Mactan Newtown Beach, traverse Manuel L. Quezon Street, and continue across the CCLEX Bridge on its bike course.

Important Traffic Updates

ALL MAJOR ROADS ON THE ISLAND WILL BE CLOSED during the event.

The cyclists will then exit the bridge in Cebu City making the first turn-around at KM 24 in the South Road Properties. Participants head back to CCLEX for turnaround 2 at KM 34, back to SRP turnaround at KM 45, then to the turnaround at KM 55, and then for the final loop at KM 66. Heading back to CCLEX to exit at KM 77 then follow the same route to Mactan Newtown for the run course. 

Guests arriving from the Mactan Cebu International Airport are advised not to go directly to the hotel during the event. Instead, we suggest visiting nearby malls or staying in the vicinity to avoid being impacted by traffic disruptions.

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, you will be required to present the following upon check-in. Otherwise booking will not be honored

Incidental Deposit or security deposit Php3,000 per room will be required at time of check-in to cover incidental charges which may be refunded after full payment is made upon check-out. Deposit can be either card or cash.

Pets of any type, and food and beverage deliveries are strictly prohibited.

La Marina Restaurant will be renovated, approximate works will be from July 2025 to March 31, 2026. Temporary relocation is at our La Terraza to accommodate your dining needs.

The breakfast rate is PHP 995 for adult and PHP 600 for child aged 5-12. The rate may change without prior notice

The airport shuttle fee is PHP 900 for 2 adults & 3 luggage per car, PHP 1,300 for 5 adults & 5 luggage per AUV, PHP 1,500 for 7 adults & 7 luggage per VAN (Rate may change without prior notice). The rate is subject to a 10% surcharge to late arrivals during 10:00-17:30
