A night that felt like a nightmare! Honestly, this was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The towels were dirty, the bedsheets had a large black stain, and there were hairs on the walls and throughout the bathroom. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the staircase leading to our room smelled so bad that you had to cover your nose and mouth just to walk through it. The swimming pool was so filthy that we couldn’t even think about using it. In the end, the only thing we could do to get through the night was ask for clean bedsheets. At around 2:00 a.m., an elderly woman with a cane, messy hair, and barely able to walk—dragging her feet across the floor—came to our room carrying a large black garbage bag, which she was also struggling to drag. She seemed extremely upset, probably because she had been asked to come. Inside that foul-smelling black garbage bag were the “clean” replacement bedsheets, which unfortunately smelled bad as well. I genuinely had a terrible experience, and I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has received so many positive reviews.

Decent place for the cost. Very good staff. Ok breakfast.

It's a bit further from downtown, but still walkable, maybe 20 minutes. Was fine overall, nothing spectacular, but I'd consider staying again.

A comfortable and modest hotel, perfectly located for exploring Corning attractions and a hearty breakfast to start off the day. Great value for the money.

The whole hotel, corridors and our room, had a peculiar smell. The pool was dirty and poorly maintained. Also they have a crazy set of rules for pool use: even adults must have another adult present, on the pool deck, but they have a sign saying that New York State regulations prohibit them from having any chairs on the deck! Breakfast was sup-par: limited choice and they didn’t even have real half and half for the coffee. Towels were very thin and threadbare. Skip this hotel!

Overall I would avoid unless there is no option. Dated and not well maintained property - Water getting clogged in bathroom sink and takes 5 mins to drain - on duty manager tried and couldn’t unclog. Said no maintenance staff available to fix and mentioned all rooms are sold out (tough to believe for a mid-week night in this location) and that we can do something tomorrow morning. Next day early morning, noticed we had 2 shampoos in shower, 1 conditioner but no body wash. Front desk manager said we have to make do with small bar soap left at sink to be also used for bath and that’s new policy for quality inn. I had another room for my in-laws and they had a body wash. Took a picture, went back and showed the picture, front desk manager said they are transitioning to new policy - which was not mentioned earlier. Somehow 10 mins later he called and offered to “take out” body wash from another room(another room wasn’t available the night before?) and place it in my room. Overall, a bad experience and would definitely not come back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The hotel needs an upgrade.
