A vibe of a hotel that once was great and is falling into disrepair. Before booking I was debating between this and another hotel which was a few thousand yen more expensive. I rather wish I had booked the other one. It’s not that this place is bad….but it’s not really worth the price either. To start with, we booked a non smoking room. But when I checked the property details on this website, it said I booked a smoking room. The staff assured me they would change it when I called them. But when we got to the hotel, the room still smelled like smoke. And later on I found old cigarette butts behind the tv. I have a young child, so obviously I wasn’t very happy about this. It seemed more like there were no non smoking rooms in the hotel at all, rather than that I had been given a smoking room. The kids room was nice, and my son enjoyed it. There are different toys to play. But again, we smelled people smoking down the hall from the kids room (some people kept the door to their room open so we know they were smoking). The room is also plain, in a small corner of the hotel. Breakfast is available free with the room. But I ate the fish the first day, and my stomach hurt the rest of the day…..the food, and rice, looked a bit old even though we were there at 7:30 am when it starts. The ocean view was beautiful. This was my first time to this beach. So I hadn’t realized before that the beach has many broken sticks and things on it. It’s not very suitable for a young child….

あらかじめ口コミを参考にして伺ったので、施設の古さなど承知の上でしたので、さほど気になりませんでしたが、それでもそろそろ室内のリニューアルされたらいいのになあ・・という具合です。 あいにくの雨続きでせっかくのオーシャンビューを楽しめませんでしたが、晴れたらかなりの美しさだと思います。 ウェルカムおでんやかき氷、飲み物飲み放題、露天風呂、屋内プール、バーで飲み放題、卓球と、ホテル内で楽しめました。従業員の方々は口コミ通り海外の方々でしたが、不真面目な日本人よりよっぽど笑顔で、丁寧に、しっかりとしたお仕事をされていました。また機会が有れば泊まりたいです。

従業員の方がほぼ全て外国の方。しかし、日本のおもてなしを純粋に努めて下さるところに心温まる。 大浴場にはボディシャンプ－、シャンプーリンスはあるが、アメニティは最低限(歯ブラシぐらい)。各部屋で必要な物(ポット、浴衣)は受付で借りれる。近隣にはコンビニがないので、必要な物は揃えて持っていく必要あるが･･･とてもシンプルで過度のサービスなし。心地よい潔さを感じる。

サービスは素晴らしかったです。 露天風呂も最高でした。 部屋の窓から見えるパノラマビューの海も雄大で最高でした。 ただ、一階のお土産売り場の稼働してなさが目立ちました。ここは是非、改善して欲しいです。高速のサービス売り場でのワクワク感が有れば、相当改善されると思いました。

大きな露天風呂も良かったですが、少し遠いです。 大浴場は露天では無いですが、大きな窓から海と大島が一望できてゆっくり入る事が出来ます。 部屋からの景色も最高で、お天気が良かったので、大島から昇る朝日がとても綺麗でした。 朝食のみのプランでしたが、品数が多くて、豪華ではないですが海鮮丼も作れて美味しかったです。 宿のコロナ対策はきちんとされていて、除菌シートや注意書きをチェックイン時に配布されました。 が、客の中にはマスクをしないでバイキングを取りに行ったり、館内をマスク無しで話しながら歩く人もいたのは残念でした。
