We arrived around 2:45 and tried to check in, the young man told us the room was not ready but he could go through the check in process and call us when it's ready to come get the keys. We did not get a call by the check in time of 4 O'clock, so we went back to the lobby and ended up waiting in a long line of people waiting to check in and didn't have our room until slightly after 4:30. There are 4 elevators by it gets a little frustrating trying to get one around check-in time until around 9. I read many reviews complaining about cleanliness of their rooms so I was worried about that. However I didn't feel it was terrible. The floor was dirty, but you are constantly tracking in sand. I don't fault them for that. Some of the furniture was slightly damaged but not unuseable. They charge a daily housekeeping fee of 24.95 but rooms do not get cleaned daily. Housekeeping checked with us daily to see if we needed towels, trash taken out, toilet paper or anything. Pools, hot tubs & lazy river could have been cleaner. Beach access was good. Most of the staff is friendly. We did not eat at the restaurant. Bar was ok. Check out was quick.

This is one of the best older hotels we have stayed at. The staff was attentive and you can tell they really try to keep things together as much as possible. The parking is tight in the deck when you can get a space. Overall, very enjoyable

I really thought this one would be better. The size of the room and the view was great. It was a little dirty. The Lower level. It looked nice in the morning but by lunchtime it was a mess, and often smelled like weed. If you don't mind the smell of weed, or like it, this place is perfect for you.

Our stay at the Paradise Resort exceeded our expectations! Check in was easy, our room was clean and very relaxing. We enjoyed the Sandals restaurant and the breakfast was delicious. The live music and karaoke was entertaining. I would definitely recommend this resort and will definitely consider staying again.

Always enjoy our stay there!

Good location, very friendly staff, overall everything was pretty dated and a little worn but the room was spacious and clean. The pool area was a little crowded and rowdier than I would have hoped but was what I expected at a beach side resort in Myrtle. Basically you get what you pay for here which didn’t stop us from having a nice time.
