We have stayed there twice. The rooms are terrific and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A beautiful resort that is serene compared to a hotel downtown.

The staff were great, really friendly, polite, thoughtful and helpful especially at the restaurant/bar. Staff transporting to / from resort and town were also prompt and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and good mix of Filipino and Western options. Fruits were also a highlight, tasty and sweet dragon fruit, mango, pineapple and melon. The view of the beach and mountains from the restaurant and pool were also serene and picturesque. Try to avoid the rainy season. We were fortunate that the first 3 days were mainly sunny last two days were mostly rainy. Thank you to the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

Loved this place. We had the ocean view room and it was perfect. Lovely breakfast and restaurant onsite. Its hidden away from the main street and the accommodation sends you a tuktuk to go to and from town square which was perfect. I think one of the best places to stay near town.

This place was spectacular! The perfect honey moon location! Included breakfast were the best! The place was immaculately clean and everyone friendly. The one draw back, I paid delux thinking this was a pool and beach front although you get a bigger room, the standard are the ones pictured. Once on site you get taken very close to town as many times as you wish and return, this was quick and convenient. The pools are open late, the spa facilities spot on and the bar and food mark up is to be expected! We have some amazing memories and pictures taken by staff! 5 star rating!

Amazing place to stay with great view! The food was delicious and service impeccable. Best part was the top notch food presentation. You could tell the person who made it loves their job. Only thing I could suggest to improve would be lighting in the room. At night, even with all the lights on, was not enough while packing my luggage.

This place was absolutely stunning! Everything about it was perfect. The bungalows were all situated around pools and had a very zen feeling to them. The spa was very relaxing. The restaurant was clean, the food was really good and the staff was great. Although its in walking distance to the town square, they offer free tuktuk's to bring you there and pick you back up. The staff, even after we checked out, were truly kind and offered a private room for us to use while we waited 3 hours before heading to the airport to go back to Manila. This is the first place we have ever been to that was completely perfect! We thank Cadlao Resort for the experience.

Breakfast was very good — you order from the menu, choosing from a selection of Filipino rice‑based dishes or English options such as eggs or omelettes. You can then additionally take items from the continental buffet. Fruit was served on a plate, but it was only four small pieces rather than unlimited. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside for us was the beach. We chose this hotel because it advertised “direct access to the beach”, but in reality it was a rocky shoreline with very shallow water — only about 70 cm deep — where you could immerse yourself but not actually swim.
