The front desk lady who was in over night in Thurs June 18 should not be there- her manner was rude, abrasive and unhelpful. I thought it was me (because I am a foreigner) but she was like that to all customers. The lady and young man who worked in the morning of Fri June 19, Sat June 20 and 21st were fantastic. You should have iron and ironing boards in the rooms for business people. No toiletries? Great to have CU attached to the hotel but a pity that it is far away from public transport. This is ok BUT at least make taxis readily available or accessible. Breakfast was fine although it would be good to have avocado, salmon and make the fruits a bit more appetizing.

Amazing hotel to stay in Seoul

The staff was always very helpful even when there was a bit of a language barrier. The breakfast buffet was always well stocked and good. Unfortunately we left before the lunch and dinner buffet opened.

We enjoyed our recent stay at MD Hotel Doksan. The property is very clean, and the staff were excellent and super helpful throughout our visit. However, we noticed a big change in the breakfast compared to our visit in 2024. They no longer have the live chef station making fresh eggs to order, and the overall food variety has been reduced to a basic buffet. It is still a wonderful and comfortable place to stay, but the breakfast isn’t quite as good as it used to be.
