This is a magical property! Beautiful, well maintained, elegant, comfortable and clean. Everything about this place is remarkable! It feels like you’ve stepped into a piece of history that has allowed you to call it home for a few wonderful days. Can’t recommend it highly enough! And the lovely staff who take such excellent care of their guests and this place — a mark of excellence! I’ll be back!

Beautiful maintained historical house in the old city center close to very good restaurants and the Malecón beach front. House offers multiple pools to relax and enjoy like if it was your private villa. Food and service is top notch , restaurant is Michelin noted.

It’s a beautiful property, we been staying at Hacienda San Angel since 2019. Every time we go Puerto Vallarta, we always stay there. The service, amenities are incredible. Once you been there, you will understand why we keep going back…..

Hacienda San Angel is a truly luxurious resort complex located conveniently close to Old Town and Zona Romántica attractions. The hotel is situated up a hill above Rio Cuale, providing stunning sunset views. The facility is comprised of several historic houses artistically combined into a retreat within the city. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. The restaurant may be the very best in town, featuring exceptional wine and cuisine expertly served. The owner and staff are ever present, friendly and oriented to do everything to make your stay pleasing. We will definitely return to San Angel when returning to PV.

Beyond expectations. So happy I stayed there! Getting there was very stressful since the property was unresponsive for over two days, but once I managed to get there, from the moment I walked in it was a dream. Already want to go back!

My wife and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Hacienda San Angel in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We were in there for a week and had an amazing stay. It was located just a few minutes from the beach. Everything about the hotel was perfect. Our room and the entire hotel for that matter was full of art works, sculpture and paintings. There was a folder in our room with detailed information on all the works in the room. We have done a lot of traveling in the past but the Hacienda San Angel was outstanding. The Hotel itself was stunning and the room couldn’t have been better, located right beside one of the three pools there. There were fresh chocolates brought everyday and there was a jug of ice water which was replenished at least twice a day. The restaurant was perfect for the occasion. The rooftop view was spectacular to watch the sunset from and it was also great for viewing fireworks. The mariachi music every night was part of the charm. They moved through the restaurant and had a way of making you feel special. On the nights we didn’t dine there we still sat by the pool and listened to it almost every night. The staff were truly wonderful. They were kind, gracious and welcoming. We really couldn’t have asked for more.

The Hacienda San Angel is a gorgeous property with amazing views and beautiful spaces including the rooms, courtyards and three stunning pools. The staff are lovely and so helpful. Our room was attended to multiple times per day with fresh towels and chocolates in abundance. Luis made sure our breakfasts were wonderful and gave us great travel tips to start each day. The gourmet restaurant is delicious and has a similar level of attentive service. There are a lot of stairs both within the property and to reach El Malacon and the beach which are a short steep walk (5 mins). The bonus is that you stay fit and enjoy amazing vistas. We will hope to come back soon!

This hotel was a pleasure to stay at! Beautiful place! Wonderful staff. Attention to detail. We absolutely loved it!
