Firstly the rooms are in poor condition. Paint flaking off walls, stains on carpet, towel rail missing and no shelf or anywhere to put soap in shower. Air conditioner extremely loud and the guard on the fan in unit broken. The Curtain does not cover the whole window so sun light streams in from first light. Then there is the noise on Saturday night. Yes the booking page says there could be noise from the night club. However it is not just noise that you would expect from down stairs. Maybe a hum or loud people leaving the pub. No, this is a thumping noise so loud the walls shook, the windows vibrate, the floor shakes. The bass noise from the bar is so loud the whole room shook. It was impossible to sleep till 2:30 am. No room above that noise should be booked. It is totally unreasonable to be asked to pay $100 for that room in that condition with the totally unreasonable noise levels till that time.The rooms should not be let out on a Friday or Saturday. Just do not book if you intend staying over the weekend. For the condition of the room and the outrageously loud music there are far better options in town at the same price. We regret our decision to stay there and will never stay again.

We were in room 3 and it felt like the whole room was shaking and thumping to the beat of the DJ’s extremely loud music. The supplied earplugs were very much needed but then I could still feel the whole bed thumping and venting beating to the music. I feel asleep ok thanks to the earplugs but if you can’t wear earplugs I would avoid this hotel.

This was a basic accommodation. Load music in the bar downstairs started about 10pm on Friday and Saturday. They did provide ear plugs

Good value for money. Very clean. Towels fantastic. Beds great size but aging will need replacing soon

Great value but would have liked to be told about the music that started at 10.30 pm- reason we stayed was to get a good night sleep before a big event in Sydney. Ear plugs on pillows were a welcome audition

Noise, posing as music, both nights 10-2.30. Ever tried to sleep inside a boom box at full volume? No warning when booking , only later when ready to arrive and no alternative.

Aging property in the hotel but cheap convenient and clean. Worth it for. Aa budget stay. Pub is probably too loud for families but for single traveler who doesn’t mind it was ideal. Staff were great and its clean large room. (But needs some maintenance)

Unfortunately, my own fault but i left my coat there....3 days of correspondence, no care factor, i just asked for them to check cameras incase staff maybe put it somewhere safe... too many calls with no reply.... it's not there fault i left it there, but disappointed in lack of response
