This hotel with its ambience was amazing, great location, great atmosphere, smiles on all staff, very friendly, very cool check in process. I absolutely loved it, and plan on trying other Ruby hotels.

The 'Nest' room was perfect for my stay as I spend most of my time out and about when on holiday. It was also bigger than expected and well laid out with plenty of natural light. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, but the hotel could do with getting better pillows. The hotel is very close to Stadthausbrücke Station (3 mins walk) which means you can effectively go straight from the airport to the hotel avoiding the busyness of the larger central station and an additional change of transport/walk in your journey. However, what made my stay most enjoyable was the friendliness and helpfulness of all of the hotel reception/lounge staff members. They were brilliant!

Clean room and large but breakfast was absolute chaos. The space was far too small for the number of people that were there. You couldn’t move around without bumping into people or have them bump into you. I could sit without people hovering over me and the queue to go and get your own coffee was so long (as it was for the food) that I just gave up and went out for breakfast (effectively paying twice). Extremely poor breakfast experience despite the aesthetics being quite nice and at other times the communal space is very pleasant.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a short trip to Hamburg from California to attend a performance at the Elbphilharmonie. For a brief visit built around a concert, the location worked especially well. The neighborhood felt pleasant and walkable, and getting around the city was straightforward. We had rented a car for a day trip outside Hamburg and had no trouble finding nearby street parking for the evening before returning it the next morning. The hotel has a distinctive sense of style and personality. Its musical theme leans more contemporary than classical, though the details gave the space character and made it memorable in its own way. Our room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, which made for a comfortable stay. One detail we appreciated was the option to decline housekeeping in exchange for complimentary drinks at the bar. We stopped in briefly before the symphony on our first evening and again before heading to the train station at the end of our stay. The espresso martinis were consistently well made and a nice touch. There are a few practical areas where improvements would make a noticeable difference. The room felt warmer than expected, and the air conditioning did not cool particularly well, so we ended up opening the window. We were also surprised that an iron and ironing board were not readily available, particularly for guests attending concerts or other formal events. This feels like a fairly standard amenity to have on hand. A few additional towels

Staff were so unfriendly, when checking In at bar there were 3 staff members who just looked at me for 5 minutes and when I asked them for help they visibly sighed. Terrible experience

All the staff were amazing! I don’t remember the names for everyone - I can’t remember his name but the Argentinian man working those nights was amazing! The bar is 24hrs which I was pleasantly shocked by. Nina was super helpful - had a little issue with the TV & she came & fixed it no problem. Luna was also great on check in! Amazing all around - would recommend!

Good breakfast, good location, no parking if you have a car, I would say young and trendy with a lot of self serves but very friendly staff
