Close to the Bund and Yunyan. Room is large and clean. Breakfast is superb and a good deal. Will come back next time.

Loved our stay. Stayed in family terrace room. Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast excellent but could do with some pastries. Would definitely return.

Location was great and the hotel is well Maintained and kept clean The staff are super helpful and friendly and the laundry facilities were a great bonus facility even if you have a short stay Lovely Cesar and look through out the whole hotel

Wonderful stay at Blossom House Shanghai - hotel lobby was beautiful upon arrival, and we received a great rate to upgrade our room, which was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful without ever being overbearing, and we enjoyed the excellent hotel breakfast on our last morning before departing - one last chance to savour our favourites from Shanghai! Even though the property is in a busy area, you don’t feel it once you’re inside - like your own cocoon between meanderings around the city. There’s plenty to do within walking distance, plus you have easy access to the metro and/or booking a Didi. Nearby food recommendations: • Yuxingji Xiehuangmien (go beyond the usual crab roe noodles and try the yellow croaker noodles!) • Dahuchen for consistent quality (pan fried buns, vermicelli soup) • Shendacheng for mugwort & red bean paste glutinous rice dumplings Places worth visiting beyond the area: • Longhua Temple • 1933 Laoyangfang • Suzhou Creek walk • Suzhou (day trip) Great for cocktails: • Swirl • Suzu • Union Trading Company

Clean room. Excellent staff service. Chinese costume photos from hotel are a delight. Most definitely worth a visit. Hotel location perfect for walking to Yu Garden and Nanjing Road (E) for shopping/site seeing. Definitely recommend for families. Shanghai unique food restaurants and street food all walking distance. Only con about Hotels in Shanghai is the AC temperature is not as cold besides that my first trip to China is well worth it.

Clean, helpful staff, AC, close to Bund + Yuyuan Garden & michelin dumplings

We ended up canceling this hotel due to their male staffing has a very terrible attitude towards us. It was our first time visiting Shanghai. We were very excited to check out this hotel that we booked couple months ago. Soon as we walked in. We were greeted by the staff to the front. However this male staff I believe his name is Summer. He has a very bad attitude. First he asked us for two passports then he quickly turn around and told his other staff to make sure that our passport is not expired. Okay so since when we were getting a Airport Customs treatment even at a hotel? The fact he say it out loud. That is very weird. Now keep that in mind. This whole time me and my lady were super nice and polite. We both looked at each other and just laughs it off. Then secondly he informed us that the gym will be closed in the next two days. Thats fine. Then later when we paid for the final amount then we asked him again. Are you sure its only two days for maintenance. Then he suddenly changed his word and says actually it may be 10 days. So we were extremely shocked. Because thats lying to the customer. At this point we are extremely angry because of his behavior. Then lastly he only wants to give us one key card which is super odd. He asked us for two passports then all of sudden he wants to give us only one room key. So why asked us for two passports then? We then finally demand for a refund luckily the manager was kind enough and super apologetic about it and gave us our refund.
