Beautiful hotel directly across from Alnwick Castle. Great restaurant & extremely friendly staff! Had a wonderful stay!

This is hotel is in excellent position for the Alnwick castle and town.Though car park is downhill then staff is at hand to help with luggage. We found that staff were too eager to serve / attend to unseen needs- especially breakfast seems chaotic with little choice with either cooked breakfast or a limited breakfast bar with no fresh bread. We also found the evening menu limited with focus on meat. Within the hotel there was no area for residents to relax except for a thorough fare conservatory - the bar was unwelcome and with staff busy talking to themselves behind a forest of chairs. Rooms are nice but overflowing with mini packs of all sorts leaving little room to put the toilet bag on a shelf or ability to use the coffee table. Despite the above then we will probably come back if need to as there were a few excellent staff who made for a relaxing stay

Had a truly beautiful stay at the Bailiffgate Hotel. Stunning place, helpful staff and a perfect location for our stay in Alnwick. The castle view from the hotel room was amazing.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were all polite. Room was lovely with lovely bath and shower.

Excellent hotel. Larger than I expected. Staff very kind and helpful. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Really couldn’t fault it. Super easy parking. Great location for castle and town: beautiful location, and very modern building behind the street frontage. Dinner was good. Service excellent. Wish I had booked more nights. Oh, and BTW, the smell of the hand and shower soap was phenomenal.

Beautiful rooms and location, hotel staff was incredible. Will definitely stay here again for our next Alnwick trip!

reception forgot to place items in the room that I had requested before our arrival but it was resolved promptly

The hotel was spotless The room we stayed in was really impressive Sam was a delight, he was really helpful at the reception The breakfast bar was really well stocked The location in Alnwick was perfect we will definitely stay here again when we visit the town

Beautiful room with view over the castle, excellent location with a 100yd walk to the castle gate, generous size rooms that are well appointed Book early for the restaurant to avoid disappointment as it was booked up when we got there
