We came unprepared without raincoats and it was raining almost 80% of the time during those days. Still, the experience and memories from this trip were wonderful. It was tiring, but truly unforgettable. The falls were beautiful, and the old streets felt alive. I had hoped to see Jiufen at night, but even in daylight some lanterns and lights were already on, so we still got to enjoy the charm of the place. Hopefully next time the weather will be clearer so we can explore more of the shops and souvenirs. Special thanks to our tour guide, Ms. Ruby, who made sure we saw the highlights, tried the local food, and even helped us whenever we felt confused especially with the language barrier. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.

Jeff worked hard and made sure we completed all activities on time. This tour includes admission fees to Yehliu and a DIY pineapple cake making class, which other tours do not. It was a long day, but it was fun.

我們在太平山國家森林和鳩之澤溫泉度過了愉快的時光。Jerry 568 非常友善且樂於助人。他分享了許多關於太平山國家森林和宜蘭縣的有趣歷史。強烈推薦這個行程!

We had an excellent Day 1 tour of Taipei on 16 March 2026 with Nicolas Ying from Klook ( YOLO). He was extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and very courteous throughout the day. We started in the historic district with a visit to Longshan Temple and ended the tour at the iconic Taipei 101. Nicholas was attentive to our interests and dietary preferences and took us to a popular local eatery where we enjoyed a delicious dim sum lunch. He is also an excellent photographer and took great photos for us from the best vantage points. He even recommended other local eateries for us to try during our stay. A wonderful and memorable day — we highly recommend Nicholas to anyone visiting Taipei.

Although the journey was long and bumpy, our tour guide, Qiangqiang, truly worked hard these two days, not only leading us on mountain hikes but also driving us back to Taipei for several hours! The hiking difficulty was not high, making this itinerary very friendly for hiking beginners who enjoy exploring nature. Even though we didn't see a full bloom of cherry blossoms, the scenery along the way was still worth remembering. Immersed in the mountains, Smangus, a Atayal tribe located deep in the mountains, has its own culture and way of life, offering a purity and tranquility not found in the city. I was deeply impressed by the children of Xinguang Elementary School riding bicycles on the narrow paths. The grandma at Yaya Homestay treated us like her own grandchildren, constantly reminding us that it's cold in the mountains and to eat well, and actively refilling our dishes. This human touch made us feel warm. It's an itinerary I'd want to revisit and highly recommend!

This was a very enjoyable hike. I managed to visit four places in two days: Hehuan Main Peak, Dong Feng, Shimen Mountain, and Little Qilai. I even got to see the sunrise. My guide, Snowmen, was very knowledgeable about the mountains. We saw many flowers, including the crystal orchid and the one-flower-seven-leaves plant, which is depicted on the 1000 New Taiwan Dollar bill. The weather was perfect for hiking. The accommodation at Mingshu was fantastic, offering hot showers, TV, coffee, air conditioning, and a fan, and it was just a short walk to 7-11. The two meals included were also very nice, with about eight courses to share among the group. I enjoyed the pace, as you could rest anytime.

The tour was at 10:00, so I met the guide around 9:55. One regrettable point is that the guide was only holding a sign that said 'One-Day Tour,' and there was nothing related to Klook anywhere, so the guide and I stood in the same spot for over 10 minutes but couldn't recognize each other. Anyway, after meeting the guide and the rest of the tour group, the tour began. It was my first time using a Dawson product, but the guide explained everything with such passion and even extended the time beyond the scheduled itinerary, which was very helpful. My legs hurt a lot from standing and listening to the explanations for a long time, but I had a fun time.
