Sun Moon Lake camping

I fell in love with camping on my first trip! The campsite, all the hardware facilities, the tents, and the environment were all fantastic and excellent. I really loved it, highly recommend! 👍

They were very patient in answering all my questions before the trip. The location is right next to Sun Moon Lake, and it's a short walk to Longfeng Temple, with convenient parking. Since I was traveling with my dog, I chose the tent cabin, but later found out there was also a pet-friendly RV available. For dinner, we opted for the BBQ. It was enough for four people, but felt quite lacking. I didn't think the items were of good quality, especially the charcoal, which came in a very small bag. It was an awkward amount, so we ended up buying another bag. Guests get a discount on car rentals, which is nice, but the cars are a bit older. Because it's on flat ground, there was a lot of road noise at night. Although the campsite had entry and exit time restrictions, there were no noise regulations. Guests were talking loudly until 2-3 AM. My friend barely slept all night and eventually had to ask them to quiet down before it improved.

It's suitable for bringing children to play, with facilities like building blocks, and it's only about ten minutes from the city center. Excellent!

It's a very cozy resort, and the staff are fun and attentive. You don't have to worry about arriving during a heavy rainstorm, and the ingredients are very fresh. It was a great experience.

The host was incredibly helpful when we got lost trying to find this location! As a foreigner it can be a little tricky to follow all the mountain signs at night. We contacted him and he was quick to respond and help us find our way! Even though we got their late, the glow of the lights and peacefulness of the camp was amazing! The next morning the view was incredible! we will definitely be going back!

It was my first time staying in a tent, and I was really looking forward to it. The surrounding environment is truly beautiful, with great mountains, scenery, and lots of mosquitoes. If you're afraid of mosquitoes, it's best to prepare mosquito repellent. The tent space was decent, with two double beds. The air conditioning couldn't cool down the tent until sunset because it was too hot. There was a lot of barbecue, probably too much because of the heat, so we couldn't finish it all. The air conditioning in the restroom was really powerful; you didn't have to sweat profusely. The only drawback was seeing that the air conditioner filter hadn't been cleaned, causing hot air to constantly circulate at the top. I even considered taking it out to clean it myself. Plus, as someone who fears mosquitoes, I noticed that the air conditioning pipes connecting to the outdoor unit weren't well-covered, with large holes that seemed to welcome mosquitoes to sleep with us, which was quite shocking. I hope this can be improved, but overall, it was still acceptable.

The food is abundant and the DJ music is great! It's very suitable for hosting events here, and the atmosphere at night is fantastic. I recommend coming in autumn or winter; it might be too hot in summer.
