Passeios por Sun Moon Lake

With this bus, even if you live in Taipei, you can visit Sun Moon Lake and return on the same day. It's really convenient! You can leisurely depart from Taipei HSR Station in the morning, then transfer to this one-day tour bus downstairs at Taichung HSR Station, and arrive at the beautiful Sun Moon Lake around 11 AM! The bus first stops at a rather lovely shopping mall where you can use the restroom, buy ice cream, and souvenirs before continuing the journey. The weather was great on the day we departed, and the lake view of Sun Moon Lake is truly therapeutic. Staying here for over 3 hours was quite sufficient; you can take a boat tour to Yidashao Old Street and explore at your own pace. After leaving Sun Moon Lake, on the way back, we visited the Nina Chocolate Castle to feed capybaras, and next to it was the Instagrammable cafe, Sangxin Lab, where you can enjoy snacks and coffee, and the Paper Dome. The itinerary was incredibly rich! Finally, we returned to Taichung HSR Station around 6:30 PM, and were back in Taipei by just after 7 PM. Visiting Sun Moon Lake this way is truly relaxing! You don't have to worry about traffic jams or finding parking. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience visiting Sun Moon Lake and Qingjing Farm, thanks to our guide Ken. He did a truly marvelous job throughout the trip. Ken was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He reached early to pick us up at our Taichung hotel and we really appreciate it. He shared interesting information about the places we visited and ensure we had enough time to explore. This is a special journey for us. Not only can we visit science spots outside the city, but we can also experience the reality firsthand, which feels very different from appreciating it on a website. The driver + guide is excellent in providing us with clear explanations and suggestions.

Overall a smooth experience. easy and cost effective way to travel to cultural village (especially for 2 pax). The guide is helpful and fluent in English and Chinese. The village is huge and crowded. many rides to play and a few cherry blossoms left.

Tommy is such a great tour guide, and Sun Moon Lake Day Tour is the best tour, despite the 3hr travel time from Ximen, still it is worth it of your time because the place is very beautiful where you can truly enjoy especially if you are with your own family. I highly recommend this tour package especially during cherry blossoms season. I'm 100% customer satisfied here as the whole trip is hassle free. Well done Tommy, such an excellent tour guide.

A good day trip from Taichung. Eventhough it was partly clouded it is still worth it. Eric our guide was wonderful and told many facts about the places (he even helped us find dinner when returning to Taichung). We would also like to thank our bus driver who drove very safely in the mountains.

Great tour! The scenery was amazing and we were lucky to have such good weather ✨ This tour covers a lot in one day — including a boat ride at 日月潭, several quick souvenir stops, an afternoon at Qingjing Farm, and a stop at a beautiful England-style building that’s perfect for photos. Qingjing Farm was especially fun — there were amazing shows, including a sheep show with some funny stand-up style comedy, and a horse riding show with some very impressive (and good-looking!) riders. Our tour guide, 小新, was a true gentleman and very informative. He takes great photos (and even compiles them into a video for you!), makes funny puns and jokes, and brings us around the market to show what’s really worth trying for tourists. During the car rides, he also shares many interesting stories about Taiwan’s history, which made the journey enjoyable and not boring at all. Highly recommend this tour! ✨
