Our private tour of Montmartre was one of the highlights of our Paris trip. There were eight of us, and the experience felt perfectly paced — not rushed and never overwhelming.
We learned so much about the area’s rich history and artistic legacy, with fascinating and sometimes surprising stories about Napoleon Bonaparte, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh, among others. It was also such a fun touch to keep an eye out for the Pac-Man mosaics hidden around the neighborhood by Invader — it added a playful, modern twist to the historic surroundings.
Our guide, Yazid, was the absolute best — incredibly engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. He even wrapped up the tour with a fun little story about Chupa Chups, then surprised each of us with a lollipop to end on a sweet note. He was also responsive after the tour and kindly shared the playlist he played during our walk. It was such a thoughtful and memorable experience — highly recommended!
